feedback about Johnson City Medical Center
ONE nurse cared about me the entire time I was in labor and delivery having my baby. I attempted a vbac. Unnecessary intervention led to another traumatizing csection for me. I felt nearly everything, not just tugging and pulling, but searing and stinging pain.I could feel cutting and real actual pain. I am forever traumatized from my experience here. I'm not sure I'll ever truly emotionally recover. I was robbed of the birthing experience of my dreams and instead came home with my PTSD and depression increased. Please just go somewhere else to deliver your baby, you are more than just a slab of meat. You are important and so is your baby.
The ER is full of judgemental pompous ass physicians and PAs rude judgemental staff that care less about treating their patients and more about passing judgement on them this review is for the ER department not the Family Birthing Center
Outstanding response time from the moment I walked in not knowing what was wrong with me. I sincerely don't believe I could have been at a better hospital. The hospital staff was exceptional...was it perfect? No...but it was outstanding as compared to my experiences in other hospitals. And I'm very thankful to all there who attended to me.
I went to the Medical Center yesterday somewhat hesitantly because of the negative reviews that have been posted about the hospital. I was extremely pleased with my entire experience with the same day procedure that I had done. I was there from 8 am until 3pm for various tests in the lab, radiology, ultrasound, and spent most of the time in radiology. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect, care, and compassion. Beside the regular staff, I also had 2 student nurses that were with the nurses in radiology. I was very happy to do whatever I could to have the students experience and learn from my stay at the hospital. I am a retired teacher and hope that patients would feel the same way about helping whenever possible with the education of our future. From my personal experience there yesterday, I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.
I would feel safer bleeding out in the parking lot than I would being "treated" here.
If you absolutely must place a loved one here, I HIGHLY recommend keeping a friend or family member with them at all times to make sure they have basic needs met and are treated with some measure of dignity.
