The level of service and professionalism I received from the beginning of check in, during my surgery and care and including discharge was outstanding. I cannot imagine anything that could have been better. I do not remember the young ladies name who checked me in but she was the beginning of a great experience. Emily the nurse from triage until I was sent up to be admitted was extremely nice and very caring. There were a few others but I cant remember all of their names. Haley was very patient and nice as well. When I got upstairs, Peggy, Marie (there were a couple) were so attentive, sweet, knowledgeable and patient. Dr Rhoda smith and her surgical team were incredible also. When my partner was on his way in to see me, he was greeted in the parking lot by the CEO and welcomed. What an experience I had from something that could have been so bad. this was a 5 star experience from beginning to the end. I am eternally grateful. Thank you everyone at Lower Keys Medical Center

Great experience! From the ER to the hospital - all the staff are friendly, intelligent, and professional. I was visiting from Chicago and they made sure I felt right at home. 10/10 recommend. Very clean hospital and I had a private room. Thank you to all of the techs, nurses, and doctors that helped care for me!

Had a very good birth experience here overall, though I was moved to another room right after giving birth, and then moved back to the same room the next afternoon. Not ideal. Also, the nurse attending the birth was very nice, but she or another nurse, without telling me, dumped ice water into my IV right after the birth. I'm aghast, looking back on it now. They didn't ask. I didn't know anything was being put in my IV. I just started shivering violently right at the moment that my baby was going to be placed into my arms. I couldn't hold my baby for another 20 minutes or so during this crucial period because I was shaking so terribly and huddling under a wool blanket. I don't know why they did that. The birth was normal and I was perfectly fine. They could have just given me a cup of water to drink if they were worried about dehydration.
