Staffing needs to be a bit more professional and politeness wouldn't hurt. Management needs to observe more. In the past long long wait in ER because of more serious emergencies so we found a med check still open. Thank goodness.

Pretty good overall. Nurses not bad. Food is actually good for hospital.

They let my husband who was in cardiac distress leave with Mylanta for heartburn and a heart healthy diet sheet. March 12th we made the decision to remove his ventilator and ecmo machine. Would it have made a difference if they'd caught it earlier? I'll never know but it is a question our 4 children ask.

At the time of this writing I am sitting with a friend who is waiting to be taken back for a colonoscopy. He is trying to rest, but the loud conversations and raucous laughter from unprofessional staff outside his room are only causing more anxiety to a patient already anxious about the coming procedure. None of these patients care about your kids fancy rehearsal dinner in Chicago with filet mignon and some chicken dish, or your garden, or for heavens sake how do you lose an IV bag?! Take it to the break room, ladies and gents.

MGH, at least in the 5th floor surgical center, could use some professionalism, and the staff some empathy and common courtesy.

Worst hospital I have ever been too. Was in sever pain and they made me wait almost an hr to be seen or get meds. Will drive 30mins to another hospital before I even think about going back there
