Pretty good overall. Nurses not bad. Food is actually good for hospital.

Just don't. Don't go there. Just don't.

They let my husband who was in cardiac distress leave with Mylanta for heartburn and a heart healthy diet sheet. March 12th we made the decision to remove his ventilator and ecmo machine. Would it have made a difference if they'd caught it earlier? I'll never know but it is a question our 4 children ask.

I went to the emergency room yesterday with chest pain doing tests on me all day and didn't get results until 7 hours later then saying my heart beat was low and i was at risk for a heart attack and suggested i stay there the whole night so they could monitor me they didn't have a room and i was tired of being in that one so i left and then when i called the emergency room today they said i had to go through the same thing so i just made an appointment to see a heart doctor i hated tbeing there

At the time of this writing I am sitting with a friend who is waiting to be taken back for a colonoscopy. He is trying to rest, but the loud conversations and raucous laughter from unprofessional staff outside his room are only causing more anxiety to a patient already anxious about the coming procedure. None of these patients care about your kids fancy rehearsal dinner in Chicago with filet mignon and some chicken dish, or your garden, or for heavens sake how do you lose an IV bag?! Take it to the break room, ladies and gents. MGH, at least in the 5th floor surgical center, could use some professionalism, and the staff some empathy and common courtesy.
