I spent 12 days there in July 2017 with pneumonia and sepsis. I received excellent care. I had never had such excellent care by nurses. I was very pleased. I also had a hysterectomy this past summer. Could not have been more pleased! I highly recommend.
Worst run hospital on Earth. My mom is walking out today no discharge process.Nurses are ignorant all they say is "ask the doctor."When you hit the nurse button, it takes forever to get help. One male nurse screamed at my mother. They are not comforting or knowledgeable at all.The room was nasty.. no housekeeping around, a/c unit was filthy and barely blew out ..they left bloody tissue and gloves and garbage on the floor. This place sux!!Wouldn't take my dog...she deserves much better.
Maternity ward was very clean, friendly, considerate and attentive. Billing department also extremely professional. Most of all, Dr. Johnson OB/GYN and staff went above and beyond for me. I was so impressed with their services.
My wife her sister and my son have all been to Marshall County Hospital in Boaz. They have all received prompt quick Professional Care and depending on the urgency have left the emergency room and as little as 5 minutes I rate this Hospital higher in quality and professionalism in St Vincent's UAB or any other Hospital in Birmingham. I would highly recommend going here for Emergency Medical Services.

Had to wait in ER way to long when there were only 2 people ahead of me. 2 hrs. and still waiting.............. Still waiting going on 3 hrs. My review of 3 stars dropped quickly. Now 2 stars, because it seems they just don't have any organization. Edit 1 (1-1-2018): I took my stepdaughter to the ER yesterday and there wasn't a Dr. working. They had a P.A. and CRNP on duty. ER = Dr.?????
