Mary Rutan Hospital

If I could give a zero star rating I would. Not once has this hospital been helpful for anyone in my family in an emergency situation. And when you have to look around the ER floor to find staff to help a patient then there is a serious lack of management in place. Irresponsible staff, management, and care. There is much to be improved.

Caring and competent medical, surgical, and staff people. Officially recognized as one of the top hospitals in the country for cleanliness and infection safety. Caring local-pastor chaplain staff. Officially allied with University Health Systems of Ohio State University, big city resources are readily available to this small town regional hospital. I had thyroidectomy surgery here in November of 2017. Excellent experience in every way. And the food in the cafeteria is great!

Triple the cost of other providers I highly encourage you to go else where for better care

The staff complained the whole time. I sat here for more than two hours listening to them say they were overwhelmed. If you cant handle your job don't come in here asking me if I'm employed.

Our son was taken to MRH by squad after he was found passed out on the bathroom floor with blood all over his face. The ER Dr told us he got up out of bed to quickly & it caused him to pass out. We were not happy with this diagnosed so we took our son to a clinic in Marysville as soon as we left the ER. The Dr at the clinic looked in our son's mouth & realized he had bit his tongue, which was a sign of him having a seizure. She scheduled an EEG for our son the following week & he was diagnosed with nonintractable juvenile myoclonic epilepsy 3 days later. Without the wonderful Dr in Marysville, we would've never known our son was epileptic. We have never had a pleasant experience at Mary Rutan so I would recommend going to any other hospital in the area.
