Caring and competent medical, surgical, and staff people. Officially recognized as one of the top hospitals in the country for cleanliness and infection safety. Caring local-pastor chaplain staff.

Officially allied with University Health Systems of Ohio State University, big city resources are readily available to this small town regional hospital.

I had thyroidectomy surgery here in November of 2017. Excellent experience in every way. And the food in the cafeteria is great!

The staff complained the whole time. I sat here for more than two hours listening to them say they were overwhelmed. If you cant handle your job don't come in here asking me if I'm employed.

I, went to MRH, on several occasions with horrible pain under my rib cage. Each time I was very rudely treated or treated like a child and rushed out the door.A little over 2 yrs ago i, went for the final time and i, was put under the care of Dr, Fearon, who treated worse than i, had ever been treated demanding to know who I " hang out with" and accused me of drug seeking. Not that it's anyone's business but i,don't have time to "hang out"with anyone as I have been raising my grandkids since 2008. And as far as "drug seeking" i, was actually seeking a diagnoses and pain relive regardless of what medication it was. He did labs that came back with awful results but instead of Dr, Fearon, trying to figure out the cause cause he came to me and told me "people with labs like yours go crazy!" And that was the end of investigating the cause of my very abnormal labs!! 7 and a half hrs later my pain started to ease up a little (no thanks to the doctor) so when he came back in many hours later to give me the results of my kidney scan he said " look at you, you were all whiney when you came in here and now you are fine!) And besides I looked at your kidney scan and it was just fine as I expected!". He left then the nurse came in and tried to get me to sign out against medical advise which told me he must be thinking something could be wrong (according to my lab work) and wanted to release me but was afraid something could go wrong the way he over looked my labs and later finding out he doesn't know how to read kidney scans. I told the nurse oh no he's not getting off that easy. Finally she brought me papers to sign where Dr.fearon, released me. Early the next morning a radiologist from MRH, called me to tell me I had a tumor on my kidney which turned out to be cancer!! I know Dr.Fearon, is no longer there among another issue i, have with Mary Rutan. If i, would have played my cards right i, should have called joint commission instead of letting them get away with their rude unprofessional and incompetent behavior Had the radiologist not had found the cancerous tumor on my kidney, I probably wouldn't had went to another doctor for follow up care until it was too late. The unprofessional and incompetentcy the emergency room staff displays needs to be reported to joint commission . Just because a pts chief complaint is pain it doesn't mean they are drug seeking!! I can't help to wonder how many ppl have been accused of drug seeking and pushed out the door because as soon as the or mentions pain their only focus is the fact the doctor automatically assumes the pt is drug seeking and focuses sticky on that and make no attempt to look for the cause of the pain like they did with me!! I've learned it wouldn't be wise to take a SICK cat to MRH...smh

The lab here is terrible. They are in a rush by having a wild disregard for obtaining accurate information.
