I sat in the ER waiting room for 4hours with severe abdominal pain and finally left to find a better hospital. There were only 4 people ahead of me. I suggest if you need ER help go somewhere else or call an ambulance.

I adore the medical staff for the womans center they are so sweet and caring and I am alot to put up with but they were patient and kind and they really did try to do everything they could to help me be comfortable and pain free and I apreaappre them sooooooooo much. I've been to multiple hospitals and have never been treated so kind. They are amazing. The er is a er I'd give 3 stars there is quite a few people that go in and out so I don't expect too much but my nurses were kind and helpful.

I visited the Matagorda Regional Medical Center Urgent Care and was told the cost would be under $100 if I paid cash. I had my 10 minute visit with the Dr. and paid the bill. Two months later I got an additional bill for $400 for my 10 minute visit with the Doctor. After 10 calls with representatives from the Medical Center and the outsourced Doctors I caved in and paid almost $500 for the clinic visit. I should have driven to Lake Jackson Urgent Care - it would have saved me $300.

Mom was having a hard time breathing and low blood pressure. Took her here and they got her back right away. We had a nurse named Miranda, this nurse was absolutely the best I have ever had at any ER. She stayed with her working the whole time we was there. They didn't have the capability to treat my mom because of her cancer but that girl was awesome. People can learn from this girl, she cares about the people.
