Mclaren Oakland

I had a mastectomy in September. The nurses were great. I had a large contingent of family waiting for my surgery to be completed and they all said they were treated very well by the staff there. I have no reservations about being treated here again.

I had an emotionally traumatizing experience here in February of 2018 and was sick to my stomach coming here for a friend that needed surgery. Tonight though, on the third night of her being here, she had an amazing nurse; Kristi. She listened, she cared, she made her comfortable after being uncomfortable for days and numerous nurses brushing her off. Overall, she was an attentive and awesome nurse! She was even good conversation. I’m grateful of all the nurses she’s had since being there, she had Kristi. Every hospital needs nurses like her.

Everyone is different and of course their health care and needs. I believe the staff at this healthcare center is well versed and aware of their patients needs and concerns. I have been in many health care locations and have seen good and bad. Compassion and integrity go hand in hand.

Not good at ALL.. They couldn't put me asleep properly. Didn't know how to start IV.. Didn't offer anything for pain after. No Tylenol nothing. This is very poor patient care. Like my Dr and feel she is pushed to do operations in this Hospital. I would give zero stars if I could. I feel very bad for anyone having surgery. I'm a person with 2 incurable diseases and believe a dog was treated for pain better than I. I should been asked if I was ok after and had any pain. I did have pain. I will stick with the better Hospitals out by me. Also they had me signing things which is a no after surgery.....

My son Is Type1 Diabetic we only use this hospital. Unfortunately he usually ends up in Icu.He is treated so well the men and women on that floor is Amazing, The care the kindness that me and my son receive is like no other hospital I have been to.My son is actually there now and I have to work but I know,I trust that he is being taken well cared of.Thank so much for all you do.Love Brandon's mom.
