Haven't been here since the new bldg opened. Lovely area, staff pleasant, volunteers gladly helpful. ICU suite exceptionally large, their staff attentive. Very much recommended
I was there for my boyfriend's neck surgery. This place was very clean and neat. The hospital staff are great. They came in always smiling and one of the nurses there would come in singing to us. I have surgery next month and I will also be there again.
This hospital is beyond amazing! From the Surgeons all the way to housekeeping no one misses a beat. Very polite and courteous staff. Great job Memorial!
We had a very good experience in this hospital, if such thing is possible to say. We were traveling across the state and ended up needing an emergency appendectomy. We didnt know what to expect, but we got checked into an emergency room at 9am on Sunday, by noon the cat scan and blood work were done which all pointed to an inflamed appendix. We discussed our options with the surgeon, who said we could conceivably continue on our way and they would release all test results to us, but the surgery would need to be done sooner rather than later and he didnt recommend delaying. Since my wife couldnt even get up because of pain, we opted for the surgery. By 2:30 my wife was being prepped for surgery. The surgeon explained what they were planning to do and answered our questions. Surgery team was great, they called me to say that surgery was about to start and my wife was doing fine under anesthesia. They also called after the surgery was done to say everything went fine and doctor would stop by to discuss what he observed. The surgeon stopped by later and mentioned that there were slight complications because appendix was actually perforated and what they needed to do as a result and that it was good we didn't continue on our way. He also mentioned that because of this, a day or two of an in-patient stay with a course of antibiotics was recommended. My wife got admitted to the room around 4pm after the surgery and everyone there, nurses and techs were very nice. We ended up staying 2 nights, which was definitely the right choice. The doctor came each morning to check how everything was progressing. We filled the prescription in the hospital before checking out, got discharge paperwork and left. So, all in all, I would recommend this hospital based on our experience with the level of care.
They really took good care of me in the emergency room. I was out within 3 hours
