feedback about Methodist Healthcare Memphis Hospitals
I had a very unfortunate experience here! I really felt no one cared about my mother's health! We were at this hospital for over 12 hours and my mom went home with the same pain. PLEASE Do NOT BRING YOUR LOVE Ones TO THIS place!!! My dad died here!! A co-worker died here!!! The whole place needs to close down!!! New management is needed!!! I am so disgusted with myself for bringing my MOM to this hell hole!!!!!
Visited cousin having Same Day Surgery. Not only have I worked in several hospitals but have visited several. This hospital has the Family Care Center so you can rest while loved ones are in surgery. Every employee you meet shows professional Southern Hospitality. If I ever have to be in a hospital, it will be this one. My cousin went in for major surgery and was released in less than a week.
Standing outside of mom's room while she's hooking up to dialysis machine. Told by nurse that they were sterile hemo. Can somebody tell if this is so, why is her room doors still open. I mean full exposure. But the nurses nasty but nice trying to get you to leave. They did not ask anyone else in the hall. We know this hospital history from experience. Nope ain't gonna happen. We posted to moms up and talking(alert).
I understand that you want to improve your facility with all of this construction but you have taken noone into account with this extended walking ALL OVER THE HOSPITAL . While leaving the parking garage you are negatively affecting the elderly, disabled, injured. By the time they reach their destination after hiking ALL OVER THE HOSPITAL they too will be patients....this has gone on for MONTHS ... the signage is flawed as well while trying to navigate ALL OVER THE HOSPITAL. I've actually had a relative die while trying to navigate this maze... the person died before we could find them in this cluster of confusion...plus the employees
especially the nurses seem to have an attitude...i cant count how many times we were given the stank face simply because we walked down the wrong hallway trying to find where we needed to go...maybe this is a business strategy....you guys must be trying to recruit more patients because you know many can't do all of that travel. By the time they do reach the ER you'll admit them too.
My husband had same day surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma off of his nose. He left the OR with his face still covered in blood. He was also complaining of severe pain in the eye opposite from the side he had surgery on. The surgical assistants dismissed his complaints by telling him there was nothing wrong with his eye and that he must have injured it himself coming out of surgery or in the recovery room. He is now two days out of surgery and still cannot open his eye. We are very disappointed in the services rendered and also the blatant disregard for his eye pain. We do not recommend this hospital to even our worst of enemies. Steer clear of this place at all cost.
