feedback about Multicare Good Samaritan Hospital
Every time mom is in the hospital the beds are short for her she is over 6'. Today I asked right when we arrived this morning for a longer bed or a extension. They kept saying they were working on it. Then it is on the way. Shift change. I asked about it to new staff. They didn't I now and they will start working on it. It's 10 pm and still nothing. She keeps waking up with pain in her feet and cramping legs. I expressed to the staff this morning it was very important for her comfort and without, her feet will hurt for days.
What many people fail to realize is going to the hospital or emergency room ranks among their worst days ever, so if anything doesn’t go according to their preconceived idea of service, then they provide a poor review.
My experience was the opposite — exceptional service, attentive staff, and caring and professional nurses and doctors. I experienced severe low back pain (it turned out to be a herniated disc), so I went to the ER. Despite eight people ahead of me, I was seen in less than ten minutes, and within 20 minutes was already undergoing a battery of tests. Every single person with whom I interacted was a five-star professional. The hospital is clean, modern, and efficient, with state-of-the-art equipment and excellent staff.
Was at Good Sam for surgery to remove a tumor. The staff were extremely helpful and considerate. They paid close attention to my pain levels and did all they could to make me comfortable. I can't speak much about the food since I wasn't on solid food most of the time I was there, however, I often go to the cafeteria there when I have to visit the cancer center across the street. The chicken strips are wonderful.
Overall, my experiences at Good Sam were overwhelmingly positive. They made a thoroughly unpleasant situation bearable.
My mom was there for the flu. The nurse, Dani was exceptional. Brittany was the best! Doug was there anytime we need him for help. I have never seen such exceptional professionals. Thank you Dani, Brittany and Doug. Brittany, thank you for going above and beyond (dumpster diving)! for my pearl...you are all the best!
We had a wonderful experience at Good Samaritan Hospital. My husband came into the ER and was diagnosed with appendicitis. It was complicated and he ended up spending a week there. He was in quite a bit of pain, but his nurses were wonderful about helping him manage it. We are especially grateful for Kristen, Mallory, Carolyne, Sean, and Trudy for providing exceptional care during his time there. Not only did they do everything in their power to keep him comfortable, their compassion and sense of humor helped keep his spirits up. I couldn't have asked for a better team to care for my husband.
