An ambulance rushed me into the emergency room and I was immediately taken into surgery the next day they had informed me that they removed my left kidney and my appendix and were sending me home. I think they might have sold it to the guy next door to me but I can’t verify. Idk what that has to do with my broken leg but I feel so much better.
This place is great. It’s like a free hotel with 24/7 room service. All you have to do is complain and you can stay as long as you want.
My mother was PREMATURELY DISCHARGED TWICE under the care of Dr. Hernandez. It breaks my heart to know that she was diagnosed with pneumonia and a nodule on her thyroid. After the night of her 2nd premature discharge, she couldn't breathe and felt weak. My father called for an ambulance and they took her to CHI St. Vincent where she received proper medical attention.
While at Metro, there were times when nurses forgot to give her medicine and feed her. They were never busy and appeared to be fully staffed so I am confused as to why they were so forgetful.
I purchased a plant and get well soon balloons and was told that I couldn't bring a live plant in her room because of the pneumonia. Yet when she was running a fever they brought a fan caked with dust to cool her down. Her poor lungs! Please don't send your loved ones to North Metro😞
Worst excuse for a hospital anywhere, ever. They can't even stitch up a laceration with copetence. Staff are not compassionate. Dr.s are incompetent. Wouldn't take someone else's python there, much less anyone I cared about.
Worked here for about 6 months, had my ups and downs. Mostly downs. The hospital definitely needs a lot of work in all departments. Definitely glad working here is behind me. Witnessed first hand how bad he nurses/doctors would talk about the “regular” patients that would come in. It’s horrible honestly. I couldn’t take it anymore.
