I advised no one to go to this hospital, my first and last time going, stayed in the waiting room for only 30 minutes, but got to the back and stayed in the room for three hours, first got the the back the doctor came and checked to see what's wrong left out and didn't see nobody or didn't no nurse or anybody come and checked or to tell me what's was going on or what was taking so long for two hours,than after two hours came in saying they needed to give me a shot for my back after they gave me the shot, they told me to sit there for about 10 to 15 minutes to make sure the shot doesn't do no size effects, the waiting went from 15 to another whole hour. Had to go out and find a nurse to see what's the deal, they excuse was waiting on the insurance peoples to come talk to me, didn't understand why, when I gave them my insurance when I first got there, so went back to the room and waited another 30 minutes finally the nurse came with my prescription and discharge papers to leave... Never seen an insurance specialist. Y'all,need to do better on keeping check on your patients and stop letting them sit in a room for three to four hours without checking on them or giving them up dates on what's going on and why its taking so long...its very irritating and impatient.
Arrived looking for the ER and got treated very rude at the front desk, was told to wait.. to get directions.. to the er side.. . Once admitted had to wait to be seen, then before anything else occurred. While in pain, had to Pull out the credit card and hand it over... then after another waiting period, signed while wanting to vomit and just wanting to be treated already. THEN after another wait once that was taken away, they came back and finally talked to me as a person,.. Only ended up getting IV bag and scans.. almost 2k. There is a reason people say to go somewhere else. Personal experience: Go somewhere else.
New Management, caring staff and new doctors a great combination
Absolute horrible hospital, refused to continue treating my son due to my inability to pay $150 upfront. Refused to tell me what the continued care would entail. And upon leaving wouldn't give me any paperwork stating that I tried getting him seen there, they started care and refused to finish treating him due to me not having the $$ to pay them. So I felt like if i could pay the $150 they would probably just hand us discharge paperwork. Very much a $$ hungry hospital. Took my son the following day to his pcp and he was prescribed medicine. Thanks for nothing north metro, you would sooner let ppl especially a 2yr old child succumb to illness than treat them properly. I highly recommend finding another ER if possible. Now I see why people don't recommend this place.
I've been working for North Metro Medical Center four months now. I enjoy my job and what I do! After working as a CNA for almost 7 years, I've endured skills here at NORTH Metro that are new to me yet very well accepted. We have friendly staff that make you feel welcomed and appreciated. Love it!
