Basic needs met, went for an MRI. You are greeted, everything was clean and they have a station for you to enjoy some coffee/tea/hot chocolate while you wait. Don't forget to request a token for parking before you leave. Wait time, I'm assuming is average for the procedure, I don't know, first ever getting this done. People are courteous.
Worst hospital ever. I was there due to my motorcycle accident and was there in an ambulance. I was admitted and was there for 1 day and 1 hour. They were supposed to release me before that but i guess they wanted to charge me for the next day. I was kept without food and water for more than 8 hours because they thought i might need a surgery and i didn't had any breakfast or water in the morning either. The doctor wasn't there for 8 freaking hours. When the doctor came she said that i wouldnt need surgery and shouldn't have starved me. Also the total bill came out around $49000.
I went in due to my sister labor with my son. In the morning they let me in with my kid with no problem and I would come in and out with him and at 7 when I went out this other security he was bold he didn’t let me come in anymore Because my kid wasn’t nothing to her when I clearly said he was my kid! And I’m her sister. But neither then that the nurses were good..
I received excellent care from the emergency nursing staff and doctor who saw me. I feel I was listened to thoroughly, everyone took the time to address my concerns and, 3 hours later, I received a diagnosis, treatment and a treatment plan going forward.
I was taken in the moment I filled out the emergency intake form. My history was taken, I changed into a gown, tests were run promptly. I must say that the technicians were quite genial and caring.
I cannot thank them enough for taking such diligent care of me. I left feeling much less pain and no confusion as to what caused it. I highly recommend this hospital's ER to anyone with an urgent concern.
Side note: they take most insurance, even MediCal. Good to know, eh?
So excited they are now Comp Stroke accreditated! One more reason I love this hospital!
