I just want to thank Overlook Medical Center for making the treatment for my broken finger a pleasant and comfortable time. Many thanks especially to Nurse Augustinyak in the emergency section for being so kind and courteous. I could feel the love she has for her profession. From the front desk, the nurses, the doctors and everyone else, professionalism was front stage. Great job guys
We've been to the hospital. Many times with my kids it is hands-down the best hospital in New Jersey in the world. Feel like people care for you. That's no way to thank you guys all the good service you guys give us
I am very disappointed I took my 5 month old baby to the ER yesterday at 4:40am and i waited in the room for like 45 min for someone to even stop by and say hi, to finally have a nurse ask me whats wrong? they did not even check him just asked what wrong that's it. Then they came like 20 mins later to clean out his nose and checked him said he was good. I knew he wasn't because of his breathing and how congested he was. They said it was normal that he sounds clear. Took like another 45 min. to get discharged. Mind you they never ran no test on him. I went to work got home at 4 to see he was worst took him to his pediatrician and find out he had bronchitis. He was wheezing so hard. Now he is on steroids. I will never bring my child or anyone to this hospital again.
A family member was in the hospital for a few days and the quality of care is very high. Nurses and doctors are friendly and attentive. They have a massage/ relaxation room for family members. What is most important is that ANYONE in the hospital who thinks you may need help, talks to you to find out what help you may need. At first it was creepy but then we realized that that is their barometer of care. Meet you where you are and help you from there. Very impressive.
I want to thank the staff at Overlook Hospital for their professionalism and friendly atmosphere. I had never visited Overlook hospital before but I must say my first visit was in July 2018 to see a doctor at Summit Medical Group and immediately upon arriving there I was greeted in the entrance of the MAC II entrance by an older gentleman who was I believe of the Security team, with such a smile and pleasant greeting. I hoped for the best of my outpatient visit with Dr. Paul Starker and it was! Dr. Starker is a consummate professor who examined me thoroughly and had a great “bedside physician manner”. Dr. Starker walked me step by step of my options for treatment and with a sense of humor; which helped relieve my anxiety. Thank you Dr. Starker you are the best!
