This place is a joke don’t go there
Run far away from this place!! We have been waiting for over 5 hours for blood work. Not once has someone come back to check on vitals or anything even though we explicitly stated the patient is getting worse than the initial 10/10 pain he came in with and is uncontrollably shaking! They have told us we are next but have called many others since. We keep checking to see if we are still on their radar and they say yeah. This place is a joke!! They even have other hospitals (Southwest) routed here.
**UPDATE: my dad has a bowel obstruction and they're calling in a surgeon!! Nurse said they ordered morphine 5 hours ago and asked why they hadn't given him anything for the pain already. Now that we finally have a room, he has morphine. What a joke this place is, taking people with the flu first and not doing anything for patient care and protocol!!!
It is such a displeasure to come to this hospital. The phlebotomist and assistants couldn’t even help me with a pregnancy test. All of them have awful “bedside manners.” I am so tired of dealing with these incompetent people.
Every time I've been here it has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had. My 75 year old father went in for breathing problems (fearful of heart issues) and one of the nurses lied and stated that she had checked on him. He came in, in an ambulance yet the only thing hooked up to him was a blood pressure monitor. We were initially afraid it had something to do with his heart, so I don't understand why they hadn't checked on him. The nurse even had the balls to lie and say that my father didn't want an IV. When he was asked why he told the nurse he didn't want IVs he told them he said no such thing. Miss Jenny lobenthal was her name, and I cannot get over the fact that her attitude was the most poor ever had to deal with. I'm reporting both the doctor and the nurse at Cleveland Clinic. A 75 Year Old Navy veteran and 36 year veteran of the police force in Cleveland should not have to deal with this type of attitude or lack of care.
