My sister, brother in law, niece, nephew, other sister, mother, and I all have had bronchitis. My older sister and I went up to Polk Hospital the other night around midnight. Not only were the staff extremely rude and condescending to my sister and I, but they knowingly gave us prescriptions that our insurance didn’t cover. When we came back a few days later with my niece and nephew, they gave them prescriptions that WERE covered. Also while we were there, my sister was in and out in about 30-40 minutes while in that time I was given a breathing treatment and then sat with my sister for another 40 minutes while we waited for the doctor to bring us my prescriptions, which I can’t even afford as I just recently became employed. So I guess i will just suffer. They also prescribed my sister with a medication she can’t even take. As she walked out of the room she said “maybe you can help each other stop smoking” as if that’s what cause our bronchitis. Like yeah ma’am, I’m sure the four year old and eight year old have it from smoking too right? Absolutely ridiculous service.

I wouldnt recommend this hospital to anyone! I came in there knowing something was wrong and as soon as i went it they discharged me within 5 minutes. They didnt take time to listen to me but i did go to another hospital where they gave me the care i deserved! Not to mention polk gave me a prescription knowing im allergic. I would definitely stay clear from this hospital

Needed to get some blood work done and my nurse suggested to go here. The administrative staff were nice and as a first time visitor, I was pleased that it only took a few minutes to cover the paperwork and knowledge of rights etc. . I was walked right in to a specific area for drawing blood. The nurse that drew the blood was very nice, efficient and I didn't even feel the needle go in. I was in and out in about 20 minutes from the time in the door until I walked out.

The staff was great, I’m not sure who the lady was behind the desk who registered me, but her personality was great, she was pleasant, professional and found my insurance info for me and printed it off for me just in case I cannot find my card

I was recently seen because I had severe contusions to the whole right side of my face. My eye was black, bloody, purple, and was completely swollen shut. I had multiple cuts and scrapes all over that side of my face (and there were a few on other parts of my body) and was in immense pain. Dr. Kenneth Wayne Jones breezed in after what seemed to be quite a while, and after a couple of tests and him prying my eye open which nearly made me faint from the pain, he said just to go home and put ice on it and take Ibuprofen. He said injuries like mine didn't call for any other pain relief (I don't usually care for strong painkillers, but in this case they would have been appropriate). I have never been so shocked by a medical "professional". He was neglectful, uncaring, and rude when I tried to express just how much pain I was in. I've had an injury similar to this one once before and the first thing the doctor at the other place did was get me out of as much pain as possible and then it was on to tests, etc. I was in agony over the next couple of days this time. If you wind up being seen by this guy please be careful. I wish I could include a photo of my face in this review as it was the day Jones saw me!
