The nurses in ICU and this one really nice lady that works there were amazing but the security guards were very rude to us when it came to having our kids in the waiting room with us. They didn't tell us in a nice way that kids under the age of 14 can't even be in the waiting room on that floor. They were so mean to us and even escorted us down to the first floor to stay in that waiting room, treating us as if we were a threat when we didn't do anything or say anything wrong. And then the waiting room on the first floor has no TV so it's hard on parents with younger kids having to sit in there. And we came from out of state to see my mother who's in ICU and I don't know if this will be the last time we get to see her or not but they wouldn't even let my kids see her. And this may be their only chance to get to see her ever again
if she doesn't make it. It's just not right. Then the next morning while we were sleeping a guard comes up to us being very rude and tells us we can't sleep here so sends us the the waiting room on the 4TH floor and tells us to stay up there so then we go up there and later that evening, FOUR security guards come up there and tell my boyfriend that we can't stay up there and have to go down to the 1ST floor (where we got kicked out of by that other guard) and he told them that but they didn't care and were still rude and told him we need to go on the first floor anyway so we go to the first floor. Then we get there and we are sleeping and around 5AM another guard comes up to us while we are sleeping and started kicking my boyfriends chair to wake him up and was hitting the arm of my chair with his hand, really hard, right next to where my head was resting, and was rudely telling us we can't sleep and need to wake up! These guards here are so rude! We drove a few states away and I'm pregnant and we have toddlers and they are treating us horribly! The nurses on the 2nd floor were nice and so was one on the 4th floor but these guards are horrible people.
