The New Beginings department(labor and delivery) is absolutely amazing. All of the nurses were so helpful and kind. Beth O’Brien delivered my little one and it was my best delivery experience to date.

Only one star because one of the nurses was nice to me. After she brought me to the back, it was down hill from there. If I wanted to pay for bad services and treatment, I would have gone to a homeless to diagnose me. The homeless would probably have done a better job than the doctors here.

OK update to my previous review, now that temperatures aren’t flared. I’m still only giving them two stars, but that’s mostly do not to the doctor or the nurses, but whoever schedules their employees. I still think my mom should’ve been taken care of a little faster and people could’ve been a little nicer; but the real issue in the end is the fact they only have one doctor on staff on a Friday night at the hospital that serves multiple communities. I think tempers wouldn’t flared and things would’ve been handled better if they just had more people on staff especially more than one doctor. So once again the two stars isn’t due to the medical staff but the scheduling personnel. St. Joseph’s really was a death knell for Redwood Memorial. If they ever can fix the scheduling issues and have more than one doctor on a Friday night, specially ones before major events it could be a good hospital again.

Excellent care and caring staff. Fortuna and the Eel River Valley are fortunate to have this great facility.
