I was transferred to Bayonet Point Hosp for emergency surgery on September 21, 2018. No doctor at Oak Hill could do required hand surgery. I was there for 9 days, and I received top notch care, from all the staff....well trained and educated staff who included me in the plan for my care at every step. Superior to any care received previously in other local hospitals. All staff seemed to honestly care and always gave the time i needed kindly. When I have a need for hospital care from now on, this will be my choice. The hospital also has state of the art equipment. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
I had open heart surgery on Jan 7th 2019 to replace an aortic valve and an to preformed a artery bypass. I was in ICU for 6 days and one day in the step down unit and then discharged. I believe I could not have gotten better care anywhere, the nursing staff is top-notch. Thanks Bayonet Point for taking such good care of me. Jay Howell
I've been here several times and all have been great. I am currently sitting here with my sick daughter now. We rushed out of the house still in pajamas, no breakfast and the nurses could tell so they made breakfast for my other two kids who were with me. It was very nice of them. They also made my sick 2 year old very comfortable. I would much rather go here than trinity.
I was there 4 days before I checked myself out to go to Oak Hill. My room was dirty & smelled like urine & feces. When I complained instead of cleaning the room they sprayed air freshener. It took 2 1/2 days to see wound care when I had an open wound. My pic line was taken out of my arm in the hallway in front of the elevators. I don’t think that’s a sterile environment but neither was my room
Went there with a HORRIBLE toothache, on this weekend knowing they can't do much there for a toothache. I had to do something because I at that point haven't ate a bite in over 48 hours, nor slept in over 24 hours and eating IBuprofen and Tylenol by the handful and NOTHING helped. I got in real fast, experienced a nice staff and my nurse Katrina got me antibiotics right then and gave me numbing gel to try to help with the pain! I know it doesn't sound like much, but if you have ever had a toothache you know! Needless to say i HIGHLY recommend this facility and staff! Especially Katrina the heaven sent nurse!! Thank you!
