Nurses were super nice and professional but my husband was helicopterd there badly hurt stayed for three days, we never saw a Dr. or received a call from any Dr. Nothing. Nurse called he is being sent back to Citrus County to rehab. He contracted a horrible flesh-eating debase and they sent him to REHAB. Luckily the rehab staff saw the deplorable condition under the bandage that had apparently not been changed ever. He was sent immediately to a hospital for emergency amputation above the knee. Bacteria was already in bone marrow. mm away from bloodstream. He would have been dead in about 10-12 hours. They sent him to REHAB????? NO WONDER PEOPLE SUE all the time. We are not sure what we are going to do before they risk anther persons life like this.

Husband flown there after car accident. Spent lots of time there and everyone was great. He had 3 surgeries the week of accident and 4 more follow up surgeries. Fantastic place with fantastic doctors, nurses, aids, etc. Husband would not be alive if not for them. :)

Recently I was admitted for something serious that I was ignoring and didn't realize I had. In fact when they were taking me to the ICU I was shocked and crying. One of my worst fears is to be in the hospital. Your staff was amazing. They made me feel reassured and comfortable. Your ICU nurses were especially wonderful. Hopefully I never have another hospital stay but if I did I would feel confident to be at your facility.

Received horrible medical treatment in the ER this week after s local clinic referred me here due to needing stitches for a large, deep cut on my hand. The clinic staff was concerned about tendon and nerve damage and insisted i told the doctor at Regional Medical. When I arrived at the ER, the staff was rude and dismissive. I told the dr multiple times about feeling no pain or movement in my finger and he brushed me off saying he saw no tendon damage. When finished getting stitched up, they didn’t clean the wound and threw the bloody cloths in a regular trash can. I was given a prescription for ointment and sent home with instructions to get the stitches out in 10 days. Yesterday I visited a walk in clinic to get a note for work and the staff there was shocked at the care I received at the ER. They said I should have gotten a few more stitches as the wound wasn’t closed completely and now has become infected. Also that me not being able to move my finger is a serious concern and they took me back for an X-ray and set up an appointment with a specialist for an MRI and I will possibly need surgery. I received a shot for anti-biotics to help treat the wound. In the hour at the walk in clinic I received much better care than the 2+ hours I spent at the ER. I will not be returning and will advise others as well.
