I’ve been in an out of the hospital for a week visiting my brother and have run into an employee named Erin multiple times. I am overwhelmed with how kind and helpful she has been from walking me to the right location to engaging me in conversation and calming my nerves. Hopefully this gets passed along her way... Thank u Erin from our whole family. Thank u St. Barnabas for a great experience
I'm putting one star, but if I could put less than I would. If you asked me a month ago I would say that St. Barnabas was the best there is, but today they disappointed me to no end.
I came in with a killer fever because of the flu. The pain was abnormal, such to the point that I felt the need to go to the ER. Once there, they took my temperature and discovered it was at 105. They then proceeded to take my information and sit me down in the waiting room for half an hour. Look, I'm no doctor but I know this is infectious. Not only was it horrible for me to wait there in pain, but probably dangerous to those around me. Once they took me in, they left me in the room for another 15 minutes to wait around. I asked for a blanket and they said they couldn't because they didn't have any. Fine, whatever, I could wait and not get a blanket, but my biggest gripe was with the doctor. She treated me as if there was nothing wrong. I was in pain and all she said was that she could do nothing and sent me home. I felt uncared for.
I don't feel anything against the guy taking my information, but why are they taking all that if they're not even going to treat me? Since they say the flu is nothing.
I dont usually go to the hospital, but the one time I go, I'm treated like that? It's sad. I'm disappointed.
Currently here visiting a patient and in the hallway is a computer with someone else's entire medical record open and unattended.
The patient I am here to see can't get a doctor to attend to her... literally none has seen her and she has been here MANY hours. This place should be shut down.
Called for a head nurse 4 times, no response.
Called for the AOD twice, have not appeared despite promises.
The nurses at this hospital so amazing, I credit them for saving my mother’s life the the ER. They couldn’t be better, very attentive, caring, and professional.
Issue is I wish I could say the same about the doctors. It took nearly 48 in ICU to get any contact with a doctor. A RESIDENT (aka a medical student stoped in for not more than 45 seconds and the second day there).
Even more infuriating, when asked to speak with doctors after all of that time it still took hours and hours, mind you they are walking around with large groups of students teaching them and looking in your room. The students can learn, but we know nothing about my own mothers critical condition? I respect they are here to be educated and learn, but they should not be priority over someone’s family. All I can say is thank god for these nurses.
Let me start by telling you this first: Wow!!!
Amazing staff, amazing Doctors, Nurses and of course my Doctor m, Dr. Eloy! Special thanks to everyone in the OR who made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Wow! There are so many things I wanna mention and thank but I’m not good with words, all the staff who was passing by regurarly to check on me. Felt like I was home. Thank you guys, thank you Dr Eloy. May God bless you.
