If you want absolutely no answers and a medical bill then this is probably the place for you. My friend was a younger patient and instead of seeing that as a red flag they assumed drugs were the reason for our visit. They were NOT. The nurses and other faculty in the ED could be rated a BIG FAT ZERO on patient care. We had concerns and asked for specific testing and they continued to tell us we were wrong and all that was unnecessary. After 3 trips to the ER, there are still NO ANSWERS. I have no experience of what the facility is like outside of their Emergency Department, but because of the horrendous treatment we received I will never advise a single soul to step foot in that place for ANYTHING AT ALL.

While the staff HAS saved my life several times, there's sometimes a severe lack of communication between doctor and patient. Getting information on symptoms caused by the medications is like pulling teeth, ED normally has extensive wait periods even with moderate to severe health issues and few patients. If there were a better hospital closer, I would recommend that first. Unfortunately, the better hospitals are up to an hour drive away and most need help right away. They often have student doctors as their practicing staff. Many times, even though they are UK students, lack of knowledge and incorrect diagnoses is considered their training. Nurses are much more knowledgeable than the ED staff. Phlebotomists regularly blow veins. The specialists are normally really great at what they do, but often takes an extensive amount of time to provide care.

I was in this hospital for eight days and I thought the nursing care was great.

My experience at st. Claire was fine didnt have problem with anything. But trying to pay them off is the worst part i cannot get them to send me a bill anymore! Its crazy why wouldnt you want someone to pay off their hospital debt. But no i call they pull up the account i say i would like to set up a payment plan and they say well it looks like its about to go to a collection agency you need to make a payement asap. I pay over the phone and still never get a bill.
