St Cloud VA Medical Center

After years of tireless effort Fargo VA had me doing very good with a medication and assured me they would never take away something that works for me. Fast forward to my transfer to St Cloud. My intake appt I was seen by someone other than my new primary who renewed my script without incident. Then a year later when I was actually able to see the new Primary. She demanded I go to mental health and refused to renew my prescriptions until I did? I was undergoing no issues at the time that I could see going to a shrink over. Very poor service now my life is in turmoil without the simple medication that kept it in check... This is how we treat out Combat veterans in ST. Cloud...........

I love how they respond with "go talk to the patient advocate" and they don't do a thing for you either. This is the only VA I've ever been to, but it HAS to be the worst of them all. Zero help. Doctors dont listen to anything you say and they rush you out of their office with the same issue you had when you came in. If I could give this VA negative stars, I would.

The VA in St. Cloud cared for me for 30 days. When I left I was better than when I got there. I was filled with information & knowledge so I can survive on my own again after having multiple traumatic life experiences. Thanks St. Cloud VA!

Absolutely fantastic! I need to give a five star rating to my primary medicine team. From Doctor Lenarz, his nurse Maria, and his clerk Tanya they genuinely care and always take the time needed to understand and correct any issue. Great job and thanks for the care you provide all veterans

I have had nothing but excellent care at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. Since getting into the VA system about 6 years ago I have had one primary medical provider, Christine Rohlfs CNP. Her thorough and professional care has been exceptional. Recently I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The urology department was excellent. Courtney Taufen APRN-CNP provided me with excellent advice and moved quickly to get the diagnostics and the treatment I needed. I was placed under Community Care and had a radical prostectomy at the St. Cloud hospital. I realize that no organization is perfect, but my overall experience at the St. Cloud VA has been veey good. Scheduling appointments has been relatively easy, waiting time has been minimal, the staff has been friendly and caring. As a veteran I have been well cared for by the St. Clod VA Medical Center.
