St David's Medical Center

Absolutely best hospital! My nephew was having a surgery to his head and everyone was wonderful. So sincere too! What a great testament to the leadership there! Such great people and such a great hospital staff. Thank you for the care and compassion you gave to my nephew!! He was so grateful too. Thank you, thank you.

Never imagined Id have to stay multiple days in a hospital, or for a fall nonetheless, but I'm so glad it was at St David's (trauma ward). I greatly appreciated every single nurse that helped me in my recovery, especially after my surgery, I don't think I have ever been treated so kindly and absolutely felt that I was cared for. Nurses that knew me from my first few days checked in on me after they did their shift on a different hall, making sure I was doing well and progressing in my recovery. Some even stayed to chat to help me feel comfortable and safe, and helped with my pain management wonderfully. Explained everything and was very informative about what was happening, I was very grateful for each and every one of them, and to Dr. Cooper for the smooth surgery that was performed on my spine, I was able to stand up and walk that same day. Physical, Occupational, & Trauma staff were a great part in this and were awesome individuals with all the knowledge needed for me to go home soon and feel comfortable. I am a week 1/2 post op now and I am doing so great. Cant say thank you enough for everything that made my stay there so comfortable.

I couldn’t ask for better care. Unfortunately, when I left St David’s and went to rehab, I quickly went downhill physically. After 3 weeks I was back in the hospital. There I was helped and got up to speed. Back to rehab and declining quickly. Insurance is a bear. The doctors and nurses had great compassion. Their knowledge was above par. (The food was good too.). I just wish I see them again with being a patient.

My visit was great! Thanks to the great staff. I came in Tuesday morning feeling terrible,my head was hurting, I was nauseated, my body was in pain. We just want the pain to go away right now. The staff was great, my body was being stubborn, and we all know how that goes. My pain subsided later that evening. Wednesday morning, I was back to my happy self. Again thanks to the staff you made me comfortable, and gave me care like I was the only person in your care.

This was my first experience coming into an emergency room. I was frightened, I didn’t know what to expect, I was feeling ill . I did not experience any compassion, the least bit of comfort, no explanation of what was to happen, what the process was,, nothing! The nurses were not attentive, they lacked compassion, they were very robotic , just going through the same ole same ole. Three times I asked for a drink of water. I never got any! I am just thankful that it wasn’t a life or death situation. I still don’t know what really happened to me, but I’m on my way to finding out. My visit to your emergency department was not a good one. I pray I don’t ever go through that again. Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to express my experience.
