Eventful Labor Day so far! Moved most of our stuff to our new home and as my sweet amazing man in as trying to put up a fence for our puppy, he hits himself in the head with a t post driver! We rush over to La Grange St Marks hospital to make sure he’s ok. He ended up having to get six staples in his head!! Poor thing . We wanted to give a shout out to the amazing nurse who was taking care of him though! Made sure he was comfortable, tried to help the pain as much as she could considering the doctor didn’t even offer numbing stuff till she already put three staples in. Explained everything to us clearly and was extremely professional. 10/10 five stars all that!! Thank you nurse Jan!

My girlfriend was having stomach burning and chest pains and shortness of breath so we brought her in. They seemed to not care at all about a possibly dying teen girl and seemed to be more in depth with their cell phones instead of the patients. I was not about to wait in the waiting room for 3 hours and another 2 hours in the “to be seen” room. We went to Seton in Smithville instead, highly recommend Seton over St. Marks any day.

I needed to go to the ER for a bad sore throat at 3 AM. The wait was not long but when I saw the doctor he was very rude and acted as if it were an inconvenience he had to see me. The nurse was far worse. I needed 2 steroid shots in my bottom and she stabbed me so hard the needle hurt more than the medicine going in. I am a grown woman and it made me cry. The people there are SO RUDE AND HAVE THE WORST BEDSIDE MANNER! DO NOT GO THERE, GO TO SMITHVILLE INSTEAD! If I could give it negative stars or zero I would.

Quiet little hospital. Nice people. Plus they have some really good docs in General and Orthopedic surgery.
