I went in with a freak heart issue. Dr Zambrano and his team jumped into action. Comforting my husband at the same time shocking my heart back into regular beating and pulse. They saved my life. I'm lucky I got there when I did. God bless them all.
I’m actually here right now. The Emergency room staff and the surgical staff were great! But now that I’m in a room, the staff up here is rude and act like anything I ask for is the biggest inconvenience. I had to go pee after just having my appendix taken out. My nurse said I needed to call her if I had to use the restroom. So I hit the nurse button. The girl answered and asked how she could help. I told her that my nurse told me to call for help when I needed to get up.. she said “well do you need help or can you do it alone” I said “I don’t think I’m supposed to, but I can try” she said “ok” and there was an awkward silence for about 10 seconds... then, SHE LAUGHED 😡 followed by “if there’s anything else, call us back” I had to immediately call back because I’m hooked up to a lot of things I didn’t know how to detach.. she came to the room to help. I said “I’m sorry, I literally just got here from surgery about 15 min ago” she says “I know, they told me” with an eye roll! I told my nurse who said that was surprising and that she would talk to her. So since then, everyone on this floor has been rude. The same girl hasn’t answered the nurse button, but anybody else who does just says “ok” and hangs up on me when I ask a question... there are a lot more examples, but I’m tired and don’t want to type them all.. it’s just becoming very frustrating
The wait was long but it was worth it. Intake, nurses and Doctor were kind, considerate and caring. Thank you Dr. Robinson for your excellent bedside manners, caring heart and excellent doctorate skills.
I went to this hospital for an ankle/ foot surgery.
I can say I will never go to a Texas Health hospital again. A random doctor came in to tell me my doctor was still in surgery and is running behind. I later received a bill from that doctor for almost $400 stating he gave me a consultation on tendonitis in my foot. I was there for surgery on a tear in my tendon!
After my surgery the nurses woke me up, helped me get dressed & gave me a drink. Then I started throwing up. They put me in a wheelchair took me to my car all while throwing up in 2 bags. Being the mother of a doctor/surgeon I can tell you this is unacceptable! Never use Texas Health
Extremely kind service. I’ve never been to an ER where nurses and doctors got me in quick, apologized for my situation, and discharged me as quick as possible. They have some interior work to be done but the service was amazing.
