Took my wife to Tift last night with chest pains and difficulty breathing. Within 10 minutes, she had already had ekg done, and had a room. Nursing staff was great and friendly, bedside manner was outstanding!! Doctor came in and explained everything that was going on, after test results came back. Spent probably a total of an hour to an hour and a half just talking and making sure we understood exactly what was up... This after a trainwreck of an ER visit the previous night in Central Florida...!

I went in last night to be seen with chest pains. Was checked in immediately, and was told to wait to be called. Within 2-3 minutes called back for vitals and ekg. From there taken immediately to a room. Now the room was dirty when we arrived, I would not even sit on the bed. Waited about 20 minutes first person to come in was Billing. A little odd, but okay. A short time after the Doc walked in and we spoke. He asked why I was not in the bed and hooked up to the monitors which I did say, I'm sorry but the bed had not been changed. Within 2 minutes of him leaving Will(nurse) had come in stripped the bed washed it down with new sheets on. He also did my blood work and I am a very hard stick. Was perfect. About 2 min later pain meds were in and nausea meds as I was sick from the drive up from Florida. Jessica,(my nurse) Fabulous- absolutely the best bedside manners ever! Dr. Schaffer- wonderful! Took the time to listen to the main complaint and went above and beyond for answers. Found out several issues that we never knew about until the proper tests were run. Released this early am, and doing so much better with the proper medication to treat everything. I cannot say Thank you enough to the crew there on 10/13! I would much rather drive the 45 minutes to this hospital then the death trap we have in our town. So thank you Tift for a wonderful Er staff at least last night!

Worst hospital ever. I would not recommend anyone going to this hospital. They think if your Dr has you on powerful prescription medication, that he's wrong and you're a dope head.

I would not ever go to this hospital again. Their pediatricians that they have on staff there are jokes. They left my daughter who was born a month premature come home. They did not do their jobs then we took my daughter to the practice the pediatrician was connected to they said that if my wife and I don’t take my daughter to the hospital. If they feel she needs to go their they are gonna call the police on us and have our children taken alway. This hospital has no idea what they are doing

I have never in my life had such a negative experience at a hospital! Staff in labor and delivery were rude, condescending, aggressive, talked about patients family members in extremely negative fashion, aggressively asked a child their age, rooms have to be rearranged just to get equipment in and out of rooms, floors were nasty, the 2nd floor hallway reeked of urine, doors are marked as “alarmed” when they aren’t, bathrooms were missing toilet paper and had over flowing trash cans, and the ER had trash on the floor, I asked several staff members for directions through the hospital and was met with nothing but attitude. I will never suggest any one go to this hospital you’d be treated better if you went to a vets clinic than this hospital.
