I wasn't upset, just a little crushed at the fact that the information was wrong about the Baby of the Day when my daughter was born. Other than that, excellent hospital, excellent service, excellent security team, which is why trying to be in that department

I gave birth at Touro 7 years ago. I guess we really forgot the labor process, because I don’t remember much at all. My sister gave birth at Touro yesterday, and it was an amazing experience. The birthing team was such an amazing diverse staff. The lead Dr. was a direct and in control Asian lady (Dr. Chow was her name I think). There were 2 African American Doctors 1 female and 1 male (Dr. Kenner), and the nurse were diverse as well. Shenika helped my sister through “tug of war” games and everything else throughout her labor. She was amazing. I really just want people to know the experience was phenomenal. Thanks to all in the Touro Birthing Center. There was also a PRN Nurse that helped us as well. I can’t remember her name but she was amazing as well. ❤️❤️❤️

My grandmother had to visit the Emergency Room and our experience with one of the doctors was horrible. Dr. Johanna Wilde is very rude. She has poor communication skills and is unable to speak to family members or patients appropriately. Her handling of complex situations shows the lack of knowledge she has with providing quality patient care. After this experience we will not be visiting this hospital again.

I’ve been a nurse for years in area hospitals, and at my parents Insistence, they were each admitted to this facility. My recommendation ... run for your life.

I called Touro earlier this week to schedule an appointment as a new patient as my husband and I are ready to conceive. I had my first child at Ochsner Baptist and my OBG was out of town so the experience was ok but I kept hearing commercials on the radio about what an exceptional experience it would be to give birth at Touro so I wanted to try something new. When I called the main line, the operator answered and I told her the reason for my call. She was very short with me replying that “this is the operator. I’ll transfer you to the correct person.” Once transferred, the receptionist was unbelievably short with me, often times talking over me before I could finish my sentence. When I told her I was a new patient, she cut me off, “Date of birth?” Ummmm, ok. Are staff that much in a rush that you can’t be courteous? A new patient? I made an appointment but am canceling. That left a bad taste in my mouth. I’ll be going back to Ochsner.
