The doctors, nurses, techs, cleaning staff, and cafeteria staff in the Cambridge Center, are all very friendly and lovely. Having a loved one in the hospital is never a joy, but EVERYONE made us feel comfortable. Thanks for your hard work and care!

This is not a place I'd recommend for primary care. While they may be leaders of cutting edge medicine I have always found they lacked bedside manner. The nurses are amazing but the Residents are mostly lackluster. They blow off your concerns and like to blame patients instead of listening. They may understand medicine but people skills are lacking. I knew I had an illness and the resident told me it didnt matter unless I was trying to get pregnant. I had multiple complications in my following pregnancy due to it but didnt have a diagnosis so it was ignored. I didn't get help until I switched to Shawnee Mission. When my son was in the NICU there was no communication to me about my son's care even though I was still recovering one ward over. They were going to put an unnecessary tube in him without my knowledge. I only knew because a nurse told me about the impending procedure. They see patients as profit and its disgusting. The nurses are the only redeeming quality this hospital has.

The following is me stating my opinion - Doctor Damien Stephens has to be the worst most unprofessional arragont doctor I have ever come across. I see him for narcolepsy and I DO NOT RECOMMEND that anyone see him for that. It is clear to me he does not understand the disease, take the time to listen to patients or care, even though he claims to have "trained" the most loved doctor many other people with narcolepsy see at KU med, Dr Suzanne Stevens, who I asked for a doctor stevens not knowing there were two and got put with him mistakenly.

I have seen him for a year and my last appointment he would not let me restart a drug for my incredibly realistic nightmares I had been given FROM HIS OFFICE and from all my doctors dating back 10 years at least (temezepam or klonopin) because of "the dea watches him" his words. Instead he offers me Belsomra, a drug that has a warning you are NOT supposed to take with narcolepsy. The man clearly doesn't know what he's doing in my option. Just another arrogant doctor who thinks he's god. My nightmares are so bad I have called 911 twice in the last two months as I have woken up because I thought I was dying and I have nothing to calm me down afterwards. INSTEAD he gives me Luenesta as a second choice, a drug my insurance will barely cover and will also increase my nightmares, amplifying the problem not helping it. He then offers me others I did not recognize but i no longer trusted his judgement. STAY AWAY from this man.

Do not waste your money! Their charging/billing system is approximately 3 times more than the national average. They charge over $8000 for a simple CT Scan. In addition , they will threaten you with collections when you attempt to have them justify their extravagant over-billing system. A complete RIP OFF!!!
