Love this place. I worked in the pharmacy department. The team is so great and it felt like home.

Great hospital and great staff. Presently, there is no secure bike parking near the front entrance. The bike rack image below is near the emergency room entrance and is a rack that is very difficult to securely lock a bike to it.

Ty to the er staff for helping my boy today. He was very thankful as was I. This includes the security staff who knew he was in pain . He wants you all to know that you made him feel better.

I could take the 3+hour wait , I understand. More that 1 staff being down right rude , not so good.

My boyfriend has seizures and gets violently ill bc the meds he takes affects his liver. The "rent a cops" they had at the door treated him very poorly .he kept having to go thru the metal detector bc of his belt. Instead of wanding him they kept making him go thru and stripping down. He could barely stand. After this 20 minute process my boyfriend overheard the cops talking to another patient about him. When he asked to speak with a supervisor one of the guards stood outside the door, listening in on his conversation and running back to his buddies to tell them what was being said. This is unacceptable behavior. My boyfriend ended up leaving before being treated bc he felt uncomfortable.i had to take him to St. Vincents. Wow... What a difference between the 2. St. Vincents was so kind and professional. That will be the last time we go to Hamot E.R. I cant believe someone employed by a hospital would laugh about a patients condition or appearance. Inexcusable.
