This is by far the best hospital I've been too in the RGV. Very friendly and courteous staff members. Very professional. If anyone has a choice to go to any hospital, I sincerely recommend you come to this one. You'll be treated with respect and as family , unlike the others here in Brownsville and throughout the valley. I'm a veteran and I've never been treated like I did in any other hospital. My total respects to this hospital staff. Very professional.

Thank You Lydia Touchet - Risk Management for addressing all of our concerns. You took it to the next level by personally walking us thru each of the procedures conducted and the current plan to ensure our family member is well taken care of.

I will continue to update my review as progress is made but since you’ve address our concerns there has been significant change. Thank you!

This is the WORST hospital, GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO DIE. Doctors and nurses are to busy socializing and bothered when asked for assistance. They prefer to send you to hospice and even push “want me to stop giving assistance? Sign here”? Are you there to kill all that come through your doors? And who in the hospital validates Medical Power of Attorneys? Instead you take one family members word over the other instead of doing what’s in best interest for the patient. To all of you doctors, nurses and hospital staff you took an oath and the first principle, nonmaleficence, or do no harm, is directly tied to the YOUR duty to PROTECT the patient's safety. Born out of the Hippocratic Oath, this principle dictates that YOU DO NOT cause injury to your patients.

You just had a patient have her finger completely cut off because your nurse refused to help them on a wheelchair. And then your staff has the nerve to request the patient register again when they hadn’t even left the room for the one thing they came in for. This hospital is waiting to get sued! Check the devices on your patients when your told there’s something wrong. I’ll be contacting my lawyers for your lack of negligence.

Yes, I do mind sending you an email! Address our concerns the first time they are brought up while our family member is there. She’s in ICU and your overnight Supervising Nurse from today 4/10 was awful. When asked to check the nebulizer because it was blowing hot air and constantly making noises, she said “I’m not touching it, you want me to take off? Sign here”. Extremely rude, condescending and no bed side manners, this appears to be a trend across your hospital. If they hate their job so much then have them go find a new one. Check documentation for the family, no one on your staff has yet to ask for a Medical POA and believe me none of the family members have one. So if my family member dies because of your negligence, because of your failure to provide her the service she needs, if you fail to validate proper documentation. I will be filing a lawsuit and this is not a threat! I will follow through.

Want to know what goes on in your hospital? Step out of your office Mr. CEO and you can see and hear for yourself. Just read the patient experience reviews and do a comparison Matamoros hospitals have higher ratings than you guys.

And for the young person possibly answering your reviews, don’t over look this one. Escalate it.

You’re trying to discharge my family member from ICU with a fever? You’re still unable to explain the swelling in her abdomen and blood she’s vomiting after you put a feeding tube? She didn’t come to the hospital like this. What are you people doing? She’s not stable to be released!!!!

Seeking medical advise...
Staff kept putting me on hold...called 5 times...never got the attention I needed...
Staff treats you like your dumb and naive...
I was mistreated and handled rough by staff during my pragnancy by nurses...staff is very rude...

Staff doesn't really care about the patients and doctors seem annoyed to be there staff literally flirting in front of patients while they are sedated.
