Abbeville Area Medical Center

Moving here from Michigan, and yet to solidify my new medical partnerships in SC, a medical condition worsened as I drove south. I sought help at two different area practices but my symptoms continued. A friend recommended Abbeville Emergency and I went today. The tests run and procedures, conducted to explore both my symptoms and overall health were nothing less than impressively thorough. The comraderie, competency and prossionalism of the medical professionals there is outstanding. It's the first time my medical needs were put before my insurance information and my ability to pay. I know it sounds like an oxymoron to describe an Emerency Room as warm and inviting, but this place is! We're so lucky to have access to this special hospital.

Bad service! Slow as hell! I will never come back here again

I understand that you have to wait your turn but to set there from about six pm until past seven thirty and this is just being in the back but to set there that long and then shift change the doctor finally come in about seven thirty and spends less than five minutes in the room and left. So I asked how to make a complaint and the nurse wanted to know why❓ is it really that hard to figure out? So I'll be making that phone call Monday. If you need help don't go to Abbeville hospital!!!

I carried my mother for a test. The service was great. The appointment was scheduled for 9:30. They took her back at 9:25 and brought her back by 9:35. That was excellent service. The next time I need a test done, I am asking my doctor to schedule me there. Great service!
