To the ER staff who treated my son, Ethan, last weekend after a ski injury, THANK YOU. You all were the best and really helped this frantic mother be put at ease. To Matthew Hinge, Sean and Jason... the hospital is lucky to have you. Thank you again for everything. Also, thank you to the ambulance staff for taking such good care of him on the way.
Terrible place. If I could I would give zero grade. My daughter had 15 minute visit on ER. I ended up with a bill for over 1838 USD! She had a minor throat infection with a runny nose. They qualified this as an Level III ER evaluation and provided an acetaminophen which is simply a paracetamol based painkiller. But because it was Saturday after hours they literally ripped me off. When I tried to escalate I was given a run around. They lower my bill to $872.
The most unfair part is that I had not been given any information how much all that “procedures” were going to cost. Moreover, I was misled by a chart indicating it should not be much more than $500. My advice, think twice before entering their door.
After being released from another hospital being told nothing was wrong to going to this emergency room and having such sweet people who reassured me that if something was wrong they would find it sure enough less than 4 hours later I was in surgery having something taken out of my esophagus Not only was the hospital staff outstanding friendly and kind to not only myself but my family who was with me two. Then having dr. Abodeely who slid me right into the schedule before all his other patients knowing knowing I had a rough time at the previous Hospital and knowing I needed this done right away I could never thank you all for being so helpful
Visited Adirondack Health for our Mobile Command center assessment. EVTF staff was impressed with the interior cleanliness, courtesy of staff, ease of access to the hospitals campus and their I.T Depts pursuit of greater technology and processes utilization.
I wish I could give 10 stars. I am from NYC...Brooklyn. First off the ambulance came literally 5 minutes after being called. The EMT lady Jodie was phenomenal. Just sweet to the core. She talked to me and treated me like a human. Then the hospital staff were awesome. The RN was just down to the core, polite. She made conversation...she told me what was next. The doctor Justin...I literally saw him 20 minutes after arriving. He spoke with me...prescribed. and discharged. He didn't try to run me ragged and keep me long hours to generate a nice bill. He was just direct and he spoke in a way that I didn't have no questions. I am just grateful...the average wait time in a Brooklyn Hospital is 5 hours...and 3 hours to see a doctor. Small place or not the services were superb.
