Dr. Leslie is my favorite Doctor whom I have known for years! I take a lot of different medications for different mental illnesses. But, she is very noble, nice, kind, and very friendly. She never judged me.We talk about health is health, making sure I have all of my prescriptions filled, using the tools I need like having coping skills, having high self-esteem, stay calm when things don't go accordingly as planned, think rational, have self-evaluations, staying busy, stay focus, doing what is asked of me, get blood work done so we can figure out how to stay healthy, her colleagues takes good care of me by making sure that my body and mind is working well functionally. And also, setting short term goals and, setting long term goals and achieving them. Also. It's a very [(safe environment)] to want to get treatment. So don't wait. Its never too late. Get help!
Mindless indifference meets reckless incompetence. An outside medical professional has noted at least 9 instances of life-threatening malpractice in the span of one week’s care of our family member. Nine for which we have evidence.
The rooms/ amenities were nice and some of the staff were very courteous, but I fear this only deceives people into thinking that they might be getting quality care.
I cannot imagine what kind of disaster would have to strike in order for us to ever bring a loved one here again.
I live 10 min. away and I'm going to Suburban next time. They give you the bums rush. The second you feel the slightest bit better out you go. - it was freezing cold in the emergency room and the nurse made me feel weird for asking for more blankets.
There nurses are wonderful from what we experienced. But I think the front desk lacks customer service. Also, it’s important to up keep the rooms. Before sending a patient into a room it would be reasonable for the nurses assistant to check the room by making sure it’s clean. Yes hospitals will get busy. But there’s a certain length of cleanliness and paying attention to things like blood in a room matters. Walked into a room and there were a bucket full of napkins with blood on them. cleanliness Matters, especially in a hospital where patients come and go.
But what do I know 🤷🏼♀️
I have always appreciated the service, care, everything...that I’ve received at Shady Grove Hospital. Their emergency room / department is staffed with some amazing doctors, nurses, others and their maternity unit is second to none. Trust me on that, both of my kids were born at Shady Grove. It’s an excellent hospital through and through.
