There is a ER doctor here that instead of helping you find out what is wrong with you, this person looks at your ancient med records and decides to say its hallucinations or anxiety. Treats you like you are just a hypochondriac, and this goes on for 3or4 visits to ER for almost 1yt.
So i give up. Im so swollen i cant bend my knees. Im so short of breathe walking across the room is exhausting( my kids were 7yrs and 1yr old ) i couldnt even walk across the room how was i going to manage a 1yr old
My roommate took me to highland ER. THE VERY FIRST TEST THEY DID DIAGNOSED ME
RIGHT HEART FAILURE
I was in icu for a week then moved to areg room for 3 more days.
I was very ill by this point.
Maybe if they had taken me seriously at ALAMEDA HOSPITAL..i would not have the much damage to my heart.
ER is a Scam, they deceived me and said my insurance was fine. Turns out they don't accept most major providers and billed be $5000 over what insurance covered. I will be filing formal complaints through and attorney with the California Department of Public health and the State Attorney General.
Seven hours for a nurse to respond or departments to get their communication together. Food offered was cold and poor tasting. They offer you a taxi voucher and then turn around and tell you 'No drivers nevermind. Nurse call bottom takes 33 minutes to get a response but within 45 minutes of getting the doctors approval for discharge 4 different nurses asked how long until my ride would be here.
The Emergency Room is a scam - avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be thousands of dollars in debt. Unless you have a serious emergency, go somewhere else. I was billed $1,500 ON TOP of what my insurance was billed.
The most horrible excuse of a hospital I've ever experienced! Don't go there or take anyone you care about there if you can take them elsewhere! The nurseing staff is super slow and not empathetic! I've never ever seen so many uncaring nurses and nurses aids before in one place! Don't go into nurseing if you don't care about people! it's horrible to be at the mercy of people who don't care and that's what you get at Alameda Hospital!
