Having had 2 strokes. Heart attack & jugular vein clearing here I can tell you this hospital was wonderful. I am so proud of the nurses & Dr here. 😊 also cudos to the rehab/ physical therapy floor for fine devotion to getting us syroke patients back on our feet again.

I wouldn't let these people butcher my deer. Sat in the ER for 3 hours, before I decided to leave, following approximately 6 other people that were waiting longer than me. Go to UPMC, where they actually care and aren't understaffed.

Absolutely terrible experience. I could not ever recommend anyone come to the emergency department in this hospital unless you are brought here by an ambulance for immediate treatment. Our experience started at the UPMC Urgent care, which was quick and smooth, and we were reffered to the ER here to get some scans, considering they were the only place for miles to have the equipment. We drive over, check in around 7:15, extremely nice ladies at the front desk, and that's where everything good ends. We sat in the waiting room, for 7 hours. We had witness more than 15 people leave, and even one couple taking their child to Children's hospital downtown due to the extremely long wait they were expecting. Now, I can get wait times are long. But it was a Saturday night early on. We were told we needed immediate scans due to the possibility of damage, and were constantly told it would not be longer. After the grueling time had passed and we were finally admitted into our room, where we sat down, were asked some questions by a very charming lady who had asked us questions before when we first got there, and was told to wait. Again. After another 20 minutes, we have 2 people walk in, someone to ask us questions, which is perfectly normal. But then, we had a man here talking to us as well, helping set up a new system. Again, not weird, just slightly frustrating considering the time at that point. They proceeded to drag out the questions, laughing and joking all while my significant other is sitting there, clearly in pain, uncomfortable and worried asking questions and dragging the whole process along unnecessarily. They were extremely unprofessional, had no manners and seem to not really care about their other patients, clearly laughing as they left about some other patient who was mentally ill. I absolutely refuse to believe that a medical establishment would let anyone of this calibre into their facility, let alone the sad and poor excuse service we have received and call themselves professionals. If you care about yourself or the person you are seeking medical treatment for, I HIGHLY discourage you from coming to this facility for absolutely anything.

From the minute I walked into this facility, every staff member I encountered was helpful and caring. The staff in the Radiology Dept. was compassionate and reassuring. I am so happy I chose to have my procedure performed at this hospital.

Was in the emergency department last night 10/2/18 people had been waiting for 8hrs to be seen. I have to use Allegheny health network this hospital is a block from me but I drive to Forbes from now on. I should have done it last night just like I did when I had kidney cancer
