Went to the ER in May and was admitted for a few days for CHF. The staff was amazing! So much better than the hospitals I dealt with in the Detroit area. The cardiologist found a tumor in my heart that was missed downstate! Can't say enough about this hospital!

Dear Representative,

I wish to thank everyone including the ER and the second floor south for the excellent care that I received. I’m indeed thankful and appreciative for the fast resolution of my health problems and speedy recovery. Especially, the nursing and tech staff on second floor south performing beyond the call of duty. I was always treated with respect and affection such that I was always at ease.

I rate this hospital 5 STARS! I, unhesitatingly recommend this Hospital.

Wow... Still not impressed with this hospital. I walked in Monday with blood work order and the lab drawal was great.
My main reason for the stop was to personally hand my MRI request to them and get it through asap due to my traveling. I was there Monday morning and they told me my MRI request would get to that department immediately, that day. I called to do a follow up just now, afternoon of Wednesday... My ORDER for an MRI is STILL sitting at Registration! I will be stopping by to collect my paper request for an MRI and schedule it at just about any hospital near Grand Rapids and will have it scheduled and completed in a few days.... Moving back home to Alpena... TOTALLY rethinking that due to quality medical care availability, or lack of.

Went to the ER because I wasn’t feeling well had a terrible sore throat and had shortness of breath and a cough. I see big changes in this ER. They couldn’t have treated me better. Joe the nurse was fantastic and the ER doc was caring and treated me very thoroughly. Thanks for everything.

Needed my Medical Release forms by mail for a specific date. Did not receive these and called back in 2 wks. They told me they were on hold, because I must pay a fee first. I was NEVER told this and now I will NOT have my forms in time!!
