feedback about Andalusia Regional Hospital
E.R. absolutely horrible. Had to wait almost an hour just to get a room in the back an another hour before I even saw the doctor. 10/10 would not recommend. It would be better to die in the comfort of your home.
Do not attend this hospital unless you want to die, lose a limb, or be completely ignored. They will use you for your insurance/money. They will not treat you. They will act as if they are better than you. They have no idea what they are doing. Please, for the sake of your life. Do not attend this hospital!
Used the ER on Friday 13th 2018 for my wife Hilda. The only gripe I have is the way you are handle when you arrive, they let you wait in the waiting room until they decide to take you. Should something be serious they have no way of knowing. This needs to be changed... Quickly.....
A week after taking a drug test and not hearing nothing back my company calls and say they never sent it off... this is the 3rd time this hospital has messed up with paperwork
Really should be a zero!! I gave birth to my 3rd son at this hospital. Very very very unprofessional. This place is not equipped to care for newborns. My week old son still has 8 different little cuts in his heels from being poked for labs. Another spot in his hand from an iv. He was noted by a nurse to have rapid breathing a few hours after being born. And because the nurse felt my mixed babies complexion was not normal. Hint MIXED they started blood work. After keeping his under lights even when his levels were not high and poking and running labs when they all kept coming back normal. They continued to give him antibiotics and iv fluids against me. I am a lab technician myself. I knew his labs and his levels were fine. The Dr ignored my request all day. Even advised he was keeping him for jaundice for 5 days even though his levels were so low that he wasn't even a low risk. His breathing was rapid but his vitals were noted and taken when his temp was 99 degrees from the incubator or at the same time they were poking him for labs. After seeing his regular pediatrician I was notified that the levels were never high enough for him to have suffered any of the treatment that was given against my wishes repeatedly!!!! I even asked if I could sign an AMA form to have my son released. We were treated as prisoners with no regard this being my child and I not agree with treatment. I sincerely hope no other person or baby ever has to endure this horror. A birth is a wonderful beautiful thing but this is one awful experience I will never forget.
