We took our 4year old in overnight and the tender & experienced care we received was unexpected. After listening carefully to my concerns and examining our daughter, the thoughtful staff really put our minds at ease about our daughter’s symptoms. They keep a peds doc on around the clock! We are so blessed Anderson’s Hospital is just a 10 minute drive from our home, and whole-heartedly recommend them!

I have visited several times and found everyone to be incredibly professional and knowledgeable. The nurses were very attentive and always answered our questions. Everything is very modern and clean. Lastly, I felt empowered by the doctors who always laid out options and helped us make informed choices.

Went here to deliver my 3rd child and it was the worst experience I ever had at a hospital. The first thing that went wrong was it took four different nurses to put in my IV and each one blew my vein. Now I have been to Medical Assistant school and Phlebotomy school and never had my veins to blow. Second every thing felt so rush no one really took they time to do their job properly. It was a lot of miscommunication going on. Even the pediatrician that came in check my son came and gave me wrong information and once I corrected her she didn’t even apologize she just like oh and kept talking. If was clear that no one check the charts nor communicate with each other. During my discharge summary the nurse was going over everything that happen and mention that my son received a vaccine that he didn’t get.Once we corrected her, her response was oh I assume he had it because no one told me otherwise. Like how you a nurse and not double checking you work. You seen it no where in the chart but choose to say he got something you wasn’t clear on. They are very unprofessional and to me not African Americans friendly.

In 2011 my 86 year old Great Aunt had a heart attack. Luckily, she survived and was able to call 911. An ambulance took her from Collinsville to Anderson Hospital and treated her there. After stabilizing, she regained consciousness and was cleared to come home in a few days. Right before her departure, however, she suffered a blood clot. This was anything but a natural occurrence. Rather, the hospital staff neglected to change her blood tubes/lines in time. After eight years, my family and I are still devastated at such an egregious oversight. Another time, my brother (13 at the time) cut his arm on concrete and went in for stitches. He came out with 6 staples and an ice pack. Our pediatrician was dumbfounded at the unusual treatment and sought to report the matter. So, why am I writing this review? Simply put, I want people to avoid this hospital. Period. It is not worth risking your life to seek care from incompetent personnel. I understand the appeal, I only live 5 minutes away from Anderson. If you can, though, seek care across the river. I would give them zero stars if I could...

Waited an hour and a half in a pool of my own blood just to be told that I'm probably fine. Ended up having to go to another ER after almost passing out on my way home.
