Delivered our son there 2 years ago and plan to deliver our second little one within a couple months. The nurses in the Pavilion for Women are all outstanding- great bedside manners, supportive, and attentive. Would definitely recommend their labor and delivery department.

For maternity care and acute health issues they are great. The nursing staff are amazing as are the support staff.

However if you have chronic or multiple issues, they get overwhelmed. They also seem to distance themselves from the patient. My husband has Cirrhosis. He's needed to have emergency care and he's needed to stay in the hospital.

I thought I was on the same page with the doctors but after reading my husband's medical records from Anderson they have a lot of untrue things in the records.

It won’t let me give a zero or I would. I was called approximately 18 hours prior to my appointment to confirm my scheduled test. 2 hours prior to my scheduled test, I was called again, only this time to say, it was needing to be rescheduled or cancelled because the tech was calling off sick. I do understand that people get sick, but the fact there is only one person who could conduct this is ridiculous. The hospital told me it was a employee for the doctors office, that was to blame. Only to have the the doctors office tell me it was a hospital employee. Either way, neither you or the doctor will every see a dime of my money again. After waiting 6 weeks for the test and loosing pay to take off work to have the test conducted. If I wanted this type of treatment I would have went to the VA.

I previously had good experiences with the other departments in this facility such as imaging and maternity. However emergency department is a JOKE. They will make light of your symptoms and do the bare minimum to care for you. I literally had the doctor and nurse question why I even came in as if being in pain wasn't good enough. Beside manner( IN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT IS TERRIBLE). You'd be better off going somewhere else in the area, Memorial Hospital in O'Fallon IL perhaps. It makes me wonder if the THE QUALITY OF INSURANCE IS DETERMINING THE QUALITY OF CARE IN THIS HOSPITAL. Patients BEWARE!

It was very good besides when the IV wasn't in my van all the way or something wasn't right anyway! Because it was pumping into my arm it got so big it woke me up out of my sleep! It happened a couple days & it is still pretty sore! Other than that it was really good for the most part....
