Terrible hospital. They can only get the bottom of the barrel reject drs. Trust me, I'm well-versed in their ineptitude.

I feel like one star is too high a rating for this facility. I scheduled an appointment that is essential as a lead up to bariatric surgery months in advance and I was not given the proper information on where in the hospital I was going, who I would be seeing, what suite number the appointment was in, or even where to park. I arrived at the facility and asked the front desk attendant if they could look up where I was going in the system (I was an EMT less than a year ago and I know that this is a common problem). The attendant in an annoyed tone shooed me away claiming they could not help me. I called the main hospital telephone number and when I asked my questions I was transferred to another information line where I was immediately sent to voicemail. I searched up and down the building and could not find one sign, staff member, or department that would help me find out where my appointment was. I Never did get seen for my appointment and so far I have not been contacted by AVH wondering where I am. These appointments take months to reschedule and I had taken time off of work specially because these appointments are so hard to be put in for. I would rather drive two plus hours to Manchester because at least there I will not be treated like trying to get myself healthy is a burden on everyone in the hospital

Had a very bad experience here at this hospital. The doctors and nurses in the ER were wonderful. It was one of the hospitalist.

Emergency room experience. Had great experience there. Doctors and nurses were very nice. Very sweet to children. There was one nurse, our original nurse we had, was just fantastic! Her name was Kelly. I have absolutely have bad reviews. This place just has some very nice staff. We are lucky to have staff like them in our hospital.

My son who has autism has gone to their ED several times and got care there. His grandfather was a regular patient with serious illnesses that were managed there. Yes it is a small hospital but they can send complex cases outside. Or if you are like me and are from Boston get care there.
