We visited this Hospital March of 2018 and have an awful experience my son had a fractured radius the physician assistant did not properly reduce the fracture...The orthopedic doctor in his office placed an improper cast, he was placed in a short arm cast instead of a long arm cast.. We finally arrived back to Houston where there are actual specialist...He was immediately re-filmed placed in the correct cast with the correct casting materials...

Hospitals usually aren't a place anyone wants to go, but this hospital is beautiful and the doctors and staff are friendly and accommodating. We saw Dr. Eleanor Von Stade and she is personable, knowledgeable and very reassuring. Dr. Joshua Seymour at the affiliated Basalt Walk In Clinic was also engaging, professional and with a great bedside manner.

Chest pains while on vacation in Aspen brought me here. Amazing hospital. The entire staff was top notch. Spent the night and I was treated like I was the only one there. Tons of tests and i got a solid diagnosis. Could not have been treated better. So grateful!

Very expensive for average working class people w/o Insurance. Had CT scan, blood work, urine sample, a couple milligrams of dilaudid via IV and left with a bill nearing 10K. Had little choice as it was an emergency situation but the doctors/nurses seemed very hit & miss as far as who spoke to whom and the extend of care shown. The lady that drew my blood was a bit of a hack job, she left immediately after (clocked out) and no one was aware that my blood had been drawn. I must say that the front staff at the ER that admit patients are super friendly and were genuinely happy to answer all of my questions. And the sweet radiologist lady that did the CT scan was truly comforting and the nicest experience I had with the entire back staff by a long shot. Can’t remember her name but many could take a lesson from her. Hope I don’t need to go back if I have a choice I will drive to Junction, Eagle, Rifle (not glenwood) as the prices would surely be half or less for paying out of pocket.
