This place should be investigated for negligent care of patients. Avoid this place at all costs unless you love rude and ignorant nurses, doctors, and specialists. No one here communicates with each other. If you want to play detective to figure out a health issue and what treatment has been given to your loved one, atlantic general is for you. I've never seen more blank faces and uninformed staff in one hospital. I would rather walk home to the Baltimore area for treatment than spend a second here.

After a couple of negative ER experiences in Salisbury, I decided to try Atlantic General. I won't be having any more negative experiences here in Salisbury, and that's about a good a review as you can get. Everyone from check-in to exit was polite and professional, and I felt like they genuinely care about me and the job they were doing. Two thumbs up, five stars, etc. Not crazy about having to drive, but hey, it's only 20 minutes or so and it is what it is.

NO Wait time, just walked in. very Clean lab. Staffs were straightforward and friendly. Walked in got my blood drawn and walked out . So easy peasy . NO hustle what so ever ..

HORRIBLE!!!!!! HEARTLESS STAFF!!!!!!! I pray none of your loved ones ever suffer from crippling pain and are denied their patient rights like my sister was tonight! She entered the emergency lobby barely able to walk, explained to the lady that she was having back pain, and that she had back surgery in 2009 to fix a slipped disc. Was left waiting over an hour after reporting her pain was over a 10! She could not sit she could not stand she could not move or breathe all she could do was cry and STAFF IGNORED US!!!! Trying to be polite and kind in a difficult situation got us no where! When I finally spoke up because my poor sister could no longer stand the pain, staff laughed at us and refused to care for her! Ended up leaving the Atlantic general emergency room and drove to Salisbury where within the first 5mins of walking in a doctor took the two minutes to actually feel my sisters back, realize that the situation was serious and help her. I have never seen my older sister on her knees BALLING her eyes out in pain like she was tonight. She literally did not even have the energy to argue with staff it took everything she had just to keep telling herself she would be okay. PLEASE IF YOU CAN AVOID GOING TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!

I was very pleased with my experience at the Atlantic General ER. I was in and out of the ER in about four hours, and in that time I had a blood test, an ultrasound, and x-rays. The ER doc I saw, Dr. Tricia Thompson, was friendly, kind, and attentive. All of the staff I interacted with were also wonderful, particularly the nurses and the woman who performed my ultrasound. Probably the best experience I've had at a hospital.
