I went in in September over a strain in my back and the staff ran the incorrect insurance, despite having physically handed them the proper insurance card. Twice I tried calling to rectify this, to which I received an incredible amount of attitude from the staff who, again, ran the wrong insurance (Running the same insurance account that I was calling to correct). Since then, I have received the proper bill for this visit run through my insurance and have paid that bill, however, the hospital shows that I still owe a bill for the improperly run insurance despite the fact that the bill has already been paid and the money has been taken out of my account. Furthermore, while trying to get this episode of gross incompetence within their staff handled they are sending me the improper and already paid bill with a statement saying they may refer the already paid bill to collections.
This has shown me that this particular Aurora location either does not care about who it hires, is willing to hire poor staff, does not properly train staff, or a combination of the previously listed allegations. Regardless of which is correct it shows me that this is not a staff that I am willing to see again and I cannot recommend anyone else see in the future.
