I was impressed with the high quality of the facility...The modern, up to date, state of the art, everything....It wasn't at all what I had imagined....I was very pleasantly supprised by everything...Even the employees were beyound my expectations, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hospital and medical center to anyone... Please thumbs up if you like this review...

I'm noticing all these bad reviews and I've come to a conclusion that maybe aurora just hates older people.. I'm a 19 year old female who's been here tons of times since it's the closest hospital to me. I came here recently with throat problems and I was treated with tons of respect and kindness. The first doctor I saw here even called an ENT on my behalf to discuss proper treatment plans. Within 2 hours almost all of my pain had been reduced. Nurses explained exactly what they were doing and checked up on me regularly. Offered me tons of warm blankets. Even got my family members water. The ER waiting room is ridiculous. Packed full of people and they took me in before they took in a man in a wheelchair with a neck brace. The problem here is the ER is too small.. they should send people to different hospitals instead. Despite this personally I trust aurora and I'm amazed at all the awful reviews... I hope everyone gets to experience what I experienced here!

Saw Dr. Ahmed in Neurology. Was in the room for hardly even a few minutes. Didn't do a thorough exam, did not explain ANYTHING. Two months of hardly being able to walk and I walked away with "We'll do an MRI, but if it doesn't show anything it's probably anxiety." Absolutely absurd that I can barely walk and need a cane at 27 years of age and it's being chalked up to "Anxiety." I will not return, and I will find a neurologist worth my time. I drove a long way to see this person too.

I hope I NEVER have to go there again.

My mother had a procedure done in the Day Surgery Dept on November 8th and we were very impressed with the staff that took care of her. They took her into surgery earlier than we expected, which was nice. The ladies who took care of her, before and after the successful procedure, were so prompt and caring. There were like 3 different nurses and when one left and said someone would be right in, sure enough....some one came in like a minute later. That was awesome. Usually you have to wait and wait for the next nurse to come in. I know that sometimes they can get hung up with another patient, but this was so comforting.....knowing that my mom was not forgotten about. And, then when they were performing whatever deed was needed, they were so pleasant and cheerful. Oh, how I wish I would have remembered their names. All I know is that my mom was there from about 2:30 to 6:30 in the afternoon. Great Job Ladies!!!
