I spent three about four weeks during the month of December 2017 /January 2018 in this hospital. Not only did they save my life, they took excellent care of me the duration of time I was there. I could not have asked for better care and seeing friendly faces every day. I have another stay coming up and I have no worries going back in. Everyone staff member was super fantastic with my family and friends. A big thank you to all the doctors and nurses that took care of me during my stay.
Most people were friendly but there was an incredible breakdown in communication. One person said you can't do this, another person said you can. Spent most of two days just laying in a bed waiting . Had to wait 2 hours after asking 3 nurses for 8oz of water. They kept adding a symptom I didn't have. Last day saw and talked to the cardiologist for the first time, he said I should stay another day even though all the tests were negative, but I could leave if I wanted to. When I said I was leaving he got a call an left. I really hope I never have to come back here. I believe it is just a money pit. They even brought medicine from their pharmacy even though I had my medicine with me. $$$$$$$
I had a procedure done there via outpatient and the entire staff was very friendly, nurses were super nice. Dr Gallo was my surgeon and was about as thorough and polite as a patient could hope for. Overall very positive experience.
My husband has been to this hospital several times and has never had a bad experience. The doctors & staff has always been very helpful and very nice.
I have always been treated well at Baptist East Hospital. I have had several tests, CT scans, X-rays, and one hospital stay there. The doctors, nurses and staff are professional and friendly. The facility is clean and state of the art. The only complaint would be the hospital food, but what hospital has good food anyway, right? It wasn't horrible, but typical hospital fare.
