The doctor and nurses were very helpful and respectful. They explained my procedure in full detail before I was sent back. Radiology was wonderful as well. Thank you for making this experience as pleasant as can be.

The nurses were really friendly from when I walked in to the time that we walked out. The doctor was very kind, knowledgeable, and got me all fixed up. If I ever need the ER again this will be where I always go.

Arrived about 1030 in the morning, quickly checked my vitals and was friendly in asking for details. Took me back to a room and through periods of intermittent waiting had several tests taken. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I have a doc friend in another area who I had asked previously before I came in. They accurately sought information and didn't know how serious it may be. After a catscan I was informed emergency surgery was nesscary. After a bit of a wait I was transferred to prep and was operated on. Went well and had a friendly chat with several nurses in each step. Was released by 5pm. I know it wasn't too busy before I showed up, and picked up after. But I honestly can say the only 2 negative things I can think of were the paint scratches in the first room and the temp at 64 (which they changed). I am grateful for the experience and the fact they identified my issue early though it could have been missed due to a lower number of usual symptoms. I am physically sore, but happy. Posting on the same day. If anything else develops I'll update. First time using an ER in 9 years. If I'm in this area in the future during my need, I know what I'll request. Thank you to the team at LR Baptist.

My mom is here in ICU and as a retired nurse myself, the Nursing staff is horrible. They are rude, unprofessional with the worst attitudes. NO compassion for family. No understanding of HIPPA. All doctors were excellent, but due to their ignorant nusing staff i will not come here again and encourage EVERYBODY to go elsewhere. I will share names, after my mom is discharged.

Went into ER after hours of excruciating pain. Was seen rather quickly for an ER visit. However, the pompous, fast talking, red-headed Dr. Barr who came in assumed I was a drug addict looking for pain medication. As I tried to explain my symptoms and otherwise high pain tolerance while curled up in a ball...Dr. Barr talked over me constantly. Dr. Barr explained there was nothing he could do for me, suggested a nuerosurgeon somewhere else. I was furious, left there and went to St. Vincent’s. Was seen quickly, given a cat scan and found to have a severe issue with my neck. Dr. Barr at Springhill had no bedside manner whatsoever. First do no harm?! I’m on my 3rd day of being bedridden still in great pain! Aside from getting in quickly, I wouldn’t take a dog to Springhill. If Dr. Barr is the face of care then Springhill is the lowest of low on my lists of ER to visit! Trust me, go to St. Vincent’s...you’ll receive the care you deserve.
