No complaints about the doctors, nurses, or staff we interacted with, but this hospital is a disaster in terms of facilities. Seriously, a good plaintiff's attorney should get over here and start raking in the cash: unlevel and uneven walking surfaces in the parking lot, a lack of restroom facilities for visitors; no private meeting rooms for physicians and next-of-kin (at least in CICU); massive columns obstructing walkways; entrances that are unnecessarily difficult to navigate; severe holes in their night time security protocols; insects and rodents living in windows to patient rooms; inability to control temperatures in rooms; windows painted shut; I could go on.
Hard to hire quality facilities managers? Unwilling to spend the money to ensure patient safety/comfort? Ineptitude? What's the reason for this?
Tried to drop a deuce just now and had to walk an entire hospital floor and Towers Floor to find an open drop sight. I bet the boss has his own drop chamber.
