Consumer feedback about Baptist Hospital

Save yourself the trouble and go to West Florida or Sacred Heart. I was sent back quickly due to heart issues, the doctor did nothing but the rest of the staff (techs) was generally helpful. This is like a New York City ER, if you aren't literally dying they do the bare minimum to get you out ASAP. Don't go here expecting to learn anything about your condition before leaving. If you get an EKG tell the tech "DON'T PULL THE LEADS OFF ALL AT ONCE", apparently it's the way they are trained since I'm not the only one that mentions this. This is an ER review, I have little experience with the hospital.

Waited for two hours with no estimate as to how long the wait would be. The facility had bandaids, face masks and seemed generally unclean in the waiting area. When I asked the desk security, he seemed unapproachble and offended that i was even asking. The two staff personnel that helped were very welcoming and wearing scrubs. So was the elderly security guard. To the security desk clerk with combed back hair and a terrible attitude, you ruined our entire experience. We left after waiting for two hours and never intend on returning ever again. I would not recommend this facility to anyone with a choice.

I know some people say this isn't a good hospital, but I've had nothing but positive experiences here. I had my child here a few years ago, and had no problems for the most part. I also had surgery here a couple weeks ago. All the staff was competent, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was outpatient surgery and recovery did feel a bit rushed, but the nurses were very attentive. Overall, I would say this is the best hospital in Pensacola.

Worst hospital by far Took 3 hours to be seen and I still haven't been seen. Nurses only care about what they want not you I will NEVER go back nor will I recommend it to ANYONE. Please go to west Florida or Sacred heart Hospital it will be worth it. BAPTIST IS BY FAR THE WORST HOSPITAL TO GO TO.

The worst hospital around. Waited 7 hours to be seen. I thought Sacred heart was bad.
