(01-28-2019) We celebrated a the Reopening of one our departments. Administration provide some snacks for us to eat. It's very nice. There are some before and after pictures. The hospital is definitely turning around.
(12-06-18) BMC had and Christmas employee lunch and a Ginger Bread house contest. The food, music and atmosphere was excellent! It's nice to see administration appreciate their employees. All the departments made their own Gingerbread house for display. It was so much fun to see all the different designs. True pieces of art.

Love this hospital. I had my daughter here 4 years ago and had a great and wonderful experience with labor and Delivery staff. I’ve also been here to the emergency room when my gall bladder was rupturing and I had a great experience as well. They saw me right away and took care of me. I am currently in here (labor and delivery) now 26 weeks pregnant with some symptoms that’s were a little concerning and I had to stay over night and the nurses have been the best ever. They are so nice and really make me feel comfortable. They joke around with me and are very nice and caring. They even tried to take my vitals without waking me up so I can get some rest ! ❤️ Love this place and the experiences I’ve had here. Will recommend to everyone I know.

I never write reviews, but I feel like I had to this time! The hospital staff and treatment exceeded my expectations. I read bad reviews and I was scared because I had a bad experience with my first c section in a NYC hospital. The nurses were horrible and overall I was unhappy. I was scared that the same thing might happen this time. Well let me tell you, it’s the best decision I made. The nurses were awesome! I forgot all their names but Maria, Carmen, Tammy, I think Valery, Kimberly, I might be making up some names, but those are some of the names I remember...these nurses were so attentive, genuinely caring, and so so amicable and courteous. I have no words. I felt really cared for. Every time any of them left my room they would always ask if there was anything I needed. I really felt well taken care of...and the manager asked me at the end how all her nurses did, and I had to tell her. But it goes to show you that they really take patients care seriously....ok I’m going to stop typing now because I’m writing too much lol. Just had to put it out there.

My wife was admittmed due to complications during pregnancy. I was scared and worried, not only for her but our unborn child. During the week we were there the staff in Labor and Delivery was awesome. Mercedes, Raquel, Sylvia, Michelle, Jennifer, Maggie, and Melissa not only treated my wife with exceptional care, but me as well. They were attentive, answered our many questions, and made my wife feel as if she were the only one in the hospital. My wife and I can’t thank you all enough. Thank you for caring for my two girls.

I do not recommend this hospital.

The ICU nurses were really caring and took the time to explain everything that was going with my father.

The 5th floor nurses were overwhelmed with patients. One day we were there for 4 hours! And we only saw the nurse once, but she still managed to sign her named on the board as if she had been going hourly. By that afternoon my dad ended up in the ICU again.

Doctor just keep saying he "wasn't a good candidate" which was sad.
