I had a total knee replacement and my stay was awesome. The nurses were great, Monica especially and even the food server. She was so considerate of making sure all was right. This was my second surgery there and I can’t say enough about the excellent care.

We had our baby girl there last week. My l&d nurses,Wendy and Dora, where absolutely amazing. Unfortunately baby girl ended up in the Nicu for a week. All the nurses where great. Johna, Stacy, Megan, and I wish I could remember the rest. Every single one of them went above and beyond. They made a stressful time easier to deal with. Dr Summeland made sure we understood what was going on, and was very reassuring. I can’t express how wonderful these ladies where, and how great fun we are.

My husband had open heart surgery three weeks ago at Shelby Baptist and is doing great. The outstanding surgery was done by Dr. Thurber. The cardiac care nurses did a great job taking care of my husband prior to and post surgery. We are very pleased with the entire process. I am glad we chose Dr. Thurber and Shelby Med. Center. Thanks

Aspergers Vs. World

Doctor Jonathan Croushorn went above and beyond to make sure i was a priority in the hospital. While i was having my own medical issue, a family member far away had passed away, and so my family was dealing with much. Dr. John understood and helped in every way he could and was clear to my family how i needed to be taken care of. No confusion. Had compassion and sat and got to know our problems as if we were a friend in need. His efforts have really helped us to have one less thing to worry about while grieving for our family member who passed; and I thank God for that.
