Had surgery this morning, surgical staff could not have been nicer or made me feel more comfortable. I am in a room now and my nurse, Kelsey and PCT Patriece are fantastic. They are so caring and kind. Would recommend this hospital to everyone.

02/08/2018 My daughter was just in MICU at Baptist South and the nurses and the doctors were just wonderful. They have kept me informed about everything that was going on and what would be going on. Nurses are just GREAT!!

This hospital is filthy! We are in the ER now and there is blood and trash on the floor. The staff and treatment have been excellent but come on...this is a hospital. Clean Up.

My husband had an EGD and a colonoscopy scheduled at 8:30 and we are still sitting in waiting room. Our appointment is with Dr. Atiq! This doctor apparently double books his appointments because the gentleman who went in 30 minutes ago had the same appointment time! If only my husband had not gone through the yucky prep, we would be out of here! Poor time management! Come on guys! You can do better than this!

I understand when the ER is full of people and the rooms are occupied, plus an ambulance comes in with a critical patient. What I don’t understand is how you bring the wrong paper work into the room then once it’s pointed out you leave to get MY paperwork and never return. After 2 hours, I go searching. The nurse LEFT because her shift was over and didn’t pass on my info!!! They seriously forgot about me. Yeah, they were apologetic but that doesn’t help this type situation. This was my experience a year ago. Fast forward to tonight. My husband was in excruciating pain. Once he finally got into a room, after waiting over 2 hours, the nurse was rude. My husband was hurting bad! Ended up being a kidney stone. The Dr came in, got them to give an IV if pain meds and fluids immediately. That was the one good thing of the whole night. Also, the guy that came from CT-he was super nice and quick. It took another 3 hours for them to come back with any information. At 3:30am (we got there at 9pm) still nothing, but they were supposed to be discharging him with pain meds and a referral. Finally, the nurse came in with an excuse, gave my husband more pain meds because by now they were wearing off. Once again, we were left there to wait. Apparently now th Dr was *really*’working on tha discharge papers...4am...4:30am...I mean, c’mon. All I can say, Baptist East needs to get their ER in check. It’s horrid.
