Treated with no respect, very unprofessional and rude, after 4.5hrs The Dr 1 Dr 40 patients. Looked at my Girlfriend and HUFFED as she walked away. Everyone in the Er should be fired and the rude Dr should treat people with respect.. Used to be great hospital Went down hill.
Would have given ZERO if I could have.
My mom was inpatient for 10 days for double pneumonia & COPD exacerbation. She was ignored on the ACU floor until she was literally almost dead. They discharged her 99% worse than she was on admission & we had to call an ambulance to take her to another hospital. She is now in ICU clinging to life.
What kind of medical facility discharges someone in that condition?
Disgusting is an understatement.
Prompt response. Great staff. They explain any procedure you are having done. Extremely caring.
we have waited over 3 hours to get 1 wrap of gause out of a cyst. the er staff insisted that we come back after the procedure was done 3 days ago. they asked us to come in early around 5 am to beat the morning rush. and of corse the were all busy but not really. idk I'm not real great with math or medical but I hope I never have an emergency, I'm convinced that they may take years to treat one person and move on to the next. we staff worries about everything other than the job they are here for. given this never was an emergency I find it hard to believe that they would not take the 2 minutes required to take off a bandaid and put on another. in able to move on to patients in pain or with life threading injurys. a procedure that takes 30 seconded has gone on for over 3 hours. I know they take there time, but Jesus Christ over 3 hours for 30 secondeds.
Reference Bartow Regional Hospital Staff Recognition;
On the evening of 6/5/17, I and my husband Perry had an Emergency Room visit, and sincere pleasure of meeting PA James Sellers and Nurse Heidi Gonzales. Based on their amazingly gracious, kind, and caring demeanor, exemplary professionalism, knowledge, competence, and ability to diagnose my husband’s condition, while at the same time have numerous high level emergent situations going on, they still provided care with a smile, and calmness that needs to be noted. Hence this letter of recognition for PA Sellers and Nurse Gonzales and of course their colleagues whom all work in tandem to deliver the highest level of care.
Thank you to all, for providing such a secure feeling of trustworthiness, that’s huge! Specially during a time when you feel so vulnerable because your emotions are running high with worry, and you’re filled with some fear mixed with anxiety and pain, so it’s such a comfort to know that when we go to Bartow Regional Hospital we know that the level of care plus all the other accolades duly mentioned above will be a part of the equation and hence we walk away with such a pleasurable experience.
In short we feel that when we are cared for by people like PA Sellers and Nurse Gonzales we feel like we are at home being cared for by our own loving family…..only these folks really know what they’re doing!!!
