This, by far, was the best hospital experience I had. For starters the waiting time was the least I ever experienced. Everyone we met was extremely nice and caring. From the nurses to the doctors they all had excellent bed manners and took the time to explain things.
They were extra careful with me because I wasn’t very mobile and gave all the help I needed.
To top that nurse Ernest was a very pleasant and funny man with stories that will make you forget you were in a hospital.
And last but not least, Dr. Admire was absolutely great. Despite the fact that his shift was over, he stayed behind and took his time to explain the test results and give different scenarios about future steps related to my condition. He didn’t rush things or even seem to be over worked. I really admired that.
To sum it up, their treatment was very personalized and it felt like I I’ve known them for years. I was among friends.
I was admitted Oct 4 for a total knee replacement and from admission to discharge, I felt as if I were the only patient. The nurses were all very nice and caring. Not once did they huff or roll their eyes because I needed assistance. Yes, I've experienced that in other hospitals. The food is excellent and there's a wide variety to choose from. All the staff I interacted with was pleasant and made me feel at ease. I don't have a complaint at all!
I had a great experience in the ER on 12/3/18. From the time I checked in to the time I was seen in the back. I came in having pain all over my body from my fibromyalgia and everybody was so helpful and caring. I had Dr. Bond and Nurse John and they were both very compassionate about my situation. They didn’t rush me off thinking I was a pain medicine seeker and really took care of me. Thanks so much!!
* If I were reviewing the billing department I would be leaving 0 stars. The accounting staff are super rude and pushy. They demanded payment IN FULL or threatened to take me off the induction schedule, even though they couldn't tell me what I was pre paying for with any sort of statement. *
However, I'm here to review the hospital accommodations and staff. The nurses here are so incredible. They all appear to love their jobs and caring for patients. I never had any pushy nurses and even overnight, while they still checked in on me, they seemed to really want me to rest when I could. They were phenomenal at making sure I was comfy at all times. There are too many to thank but my entire experience with everyone was really great! (Also, the food selection was really vast and tasty - you forget you're in a hospital!)
Most notably, the nursery staff were so so sweet and took wonderful care of my newborn. They made me feel totally at ease when sending my baby to the nursery and not at all bad for the times I wanted to sleep. Shy and Leslie M.: you ladies are seriously angels and you can see your genuine love for babies! I loved and appreciated you both so much during my stay! When I had my firstborn here, my care was excellent, yet they weren't always great about bringing my baby back when I called for her or every 3 hours (understandably, these nurses are crazyyy busy!) But this time, they were always quick to get my baby to me on time or anytime I requested her. They were also able to tell me EVERYTHING about what she'd done in the last 3 hours, which was so nice!
Aside from the abrasive accounting people, I'd 100% recommend having your baby here!
I had an amazing experience delivered my baby here!!! Especially thanks to nurse Kristina that helped during the whole delivery process! I feel truly grateful that she was so attentive and she handled everything quickly and precisely. All other nurses were amazing too, they seemed to take great care in what they do.
The facility is nice and they provided great meals for patients and visitors. I cannot say enough good things about the hospital and the L&D department!
