Spinal surgery is in no way a pleasant experience, however I must say that the staff at this medical facility were wonderful. I felt a sincere and heartfelt care being taken of me during my stay there. From beginning to end, this was the best experience for a surgery I have ever had because of the diligent staff. I had to fast before the procedure. They asked if there was anything I needed prior to the surgery. I joked saying "Coffee!'" In the recovery room, a staff member remembered and brought me coffee when I was awake and stable. Nice.

Hospital staff is wonderful. The foreign orthopedic surgeon is, well let's just stay greatly lacking in skills, follow up, and caring. Once he's done with you, any problems and he passes you off to his counter parts! He can't be bothered. He also performed a procedure on my sister based on a hunch rather then do xrays, scans, etc. This may be the reason her condition is worsening. We now have to find a competent doctor who can undo what this quack did.

This review isn't necessarily for Baylor, but to let them know that I don't think they should be working with Mnet Financial. I called to explain that I have been in constant contact with my old insurance company trying to get a bill paid off. I was on the phone with a woman named Linda (who works for Mnet Financial), and she was so rude to me from the start. I have never felt so disrespected. After I asked to be transferred to another representative for her treating me so poorly, it resulted in me being hung up on. With that being said I DID reach out to Baylor hospital and a woman named Tina was able to help and was AMAZING to me! The main reason I wrote this review was because I feel as though Baylor shouldn't be working with Mnet.

My wife had bariatric surgery here. While the surgery went well and the night staff were excellent and very attentive, the day staff was extremely less so. We often had to request necessities and assistance multiple times during the day. We found this to be the case because the day staff that was treating her was primarily made up of “floaters” who do not regularly work for the hospital(and thus we have no other avenue to complain about their patient care ethic.) otherwise our experience was as good as can be expected. Hopefully they take action to staff better temporary nurses
